Despite a few niggles I have previously mentioned with the Corrado club I feel it's best to be a member, as well as using this forum. As David has mentioned public liability insurance is required wherever enthusiasts gather with their cars......not sure if it's a legal requirement, but in these days of ever growing litigation it's sensible. The Corrado Club is or should be in a position, along with other clubs to put pressure on governments, stopping them passing new legislation preventing such things as modifying cars from manufactures specification. Other countries already have this, and believe me the Uk will get it too. Anyone remember the motorway go slow by the MAG last year? Yes once they bring this in for motorcycles cars will be next! Just imagine, no lowering or even changing wheel sizes, never mind performance enhancement? So join the club, £10 is nothing and you get to put your car on the club stand at shows.

Not the best first day of Corrado ownership

We miss looking at the Corrado on the drive already, some cars you don't even need to drive they're a pleasure just to look at.......although getting behind the wheel of the Corrado is one of the finest driving pleasures I've had, and I've owned many cars! Call in next time and have a closer look at "Rocky".....he's lurking in the garage at the minute! :thumbleft: -

Haha! such a small world! Yes she did, I was quite taken aback that a female would recognise, let alone compliment a Corrado! -

It's not what I wanted to hear from your first thread, after taking the car to the south of France and back last summer I was confident it was fine. Hope someone can offer a coil pack for sale? -

Glad people agree over the disco, they are a real bag o sh*te. I didn't like to say it out loud as it usually ends in some one saying "I have one and its great"! They say in Oz, if you are going to the outback you'll need a four wheel drive. If you wanna come back from the outback, you'll need a Toyota! Most of the mining companies out there only buy Toyotas, in some of the mines the air is very salt laden. They actually use the vehicles down there, apparently Land Rovers rust away quite quickly.

Yep for around the £1500 mark it's gonna be a shogun, still a good work horse.

80 series landcruiser is the best 4x4, made from 1989 to 1998. The only vehicle to travel to both poles and just about every desert on earth. Australians wouldn't give a XXXX for anything else. Trouble is they are not cheap to buy. So maybe the Disco or a Hang over.......(Range Rover)

It's not just Corrados that seem to get up peoples noses. People seem to accept that my Mk1 rocco is something not to mess with, but my wifes Lupo really gives people the s*its, they try to beat it all of the time and when they lose they get angry. I know it looks like it's smiling, but in the same way a cat looks at a rat as it tears its guts out with it's back claws! -

I've got a bit fed up with Top Gear the last few years, the team are quite good and I like Clarkson for his political incorrectness. I just find the stunts are now very contrived and a little boring. I think they have gone too far away from being a car show and turned into a parody of themselves. -
Yep it counts! You might have at least put a bow on it!
