firewall zip ties: I think I might have found the original cable ties from Mouser and they are fairly affordable $0.24-$0.51 each they say they are for a 5mm stud so I'm rolling the dice to say these are probably the same as the OEM ones. Hello, I picked up a 2002 16V Polo and would like to troubleshoot my a/c wiring and also investigate the wiring changes for a VR6 swap. Is the Haynes manual the only manual? Do they even have wiring diagrams in them?

I agree any further? I've bought the G60 side badges and would love to put a brushed corrado badge on my corrado

How about

My thoughts are that owners can't hide a bad seat, they should be up front about it and then they gain credit for being truthful. Oh well

This should be a sticky is every corrado classifieds forum :)

This thread has links to two other threads that might be helpful. If you search the vortex for groop Head you should find a couple threads from the 2001-2005 era on the subject. I really wanted one of these back in the day. http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?231872 -
Where do you suppose the mark will be after milling the head 1.75mm? There will be belt slack if you try and leave it in the stock position. I know an adjustable cam gear would be ideal but that is not an option. I believe the timing marks would drop below the rocker gasket level.

I know its not from any USA VWs.

You don't need the fuel tank and yes there will most likely be other things that you need but it sounds like afairly complete swap. Be sured that you will find some items missing :)

There is no definative list. There are many options on how to do various elements. I personally would recommend that you get everything(motor, tranmission, ECU, fuel filter, wiring harness, ABS, pedal cluster, fusebox, instrument cluster, fuel gauge sending unit, IC pipes, downpipe, Cat, shiftbox, rubber hoses, relays, Maf and so on from the donor. If you don't get the parts now you might regret it later if you have to buy it separatly.

I was thinking the V5 was actually a 5 valve gear box aka a 1.8T greabox. Yeah I think I've hear of the 2.5 having the same bolt pattern as a Vr6. Hell I think I've hear of the 2.5 as being a VR6 with one less cylinder.
