    With the weather finally kicking in i'm getting slowly depressed that the corrado is still off the road but perhaps this is just the motivation needed to get the finger out? I could even aim to avoid breaking down and relying on fellow corrado owners to give me a push :lol: It's right in the middle of my holidays tho (Glasgow fair) but looks like a good day out. Didn't know there was a vw gathering at Knockhill?

    Yeah, gotta love the lupo. Using a 1.4s here while the corrado gets some tlc and to be honest it's the most reliable vw i've ever had :lol: Owned it for over 6yrs now.

    Does this car have a 4 branch maifold and v-tech mounts? I'd be interested in those. I looked at this car last summer but was too slow to hand over the cash lol.

    It's turned over by hand regulary, I'd guess you can just feel the power? For the money tho I'd like to have seen a little less over spray and perhaps a car around it?

    I've been stopped at least once a year in my F reg merc estate, age doesn't really come into it. Some cars just don't blend in with the norm, the Corrado is a classic example.

    It's stuff like this that makes you wonder about the police. Last time I was pulled I asked why I had been stopped, he gave me the silent treatment while his side kick gave my car the full going over but he couldn't find anything. Asked him again why he thought he had to stop me and the answer I finally got was... "your car is unusually old". Not a serious reason I thought? Sounds like he had it in for you tho, maybe he always wanted a Corrado but was never allowed one :lol:

    Thank you very much my good man. £500 ones are a tad steep and I was looking for ones closer to the £200 mark. Just bought my wife a set of orbit alloys for her :pukeright:Touran:pukeleft: so would need to wait untill next month now.     If only the jack rarely needed to go under there... but hey, it's a Corrado! I'm with Danny B on this one, i can't even stand window stickers lol

    I hate any plastic stick on kits and can't wait to pull mine off. The amount of rot around both rear quarters is scary, the more i see pictures of my car the more i kinda like it but i could never live with it. Never saw another corrado with them, especially with the fiddly door infill trim. Might sell them on if anyone's interested? [ATTACH=CONFIG]71562[/ATTACH]

    Does your car run rich? (strong petrol smell) Could be a dirty/dodgy connection. Mine was intermittent and it turned out to be a crusty oxygen sensor plug connection. Cleaned it and I've had stress free motoring ever since. I know how irritating intermittent problems can be, hope you find it soon. elliott

    Got two already... a third would be a headache and the headache would be wife oriented. If i got a moonlight blue one, scrapped the donor one and hide the valver under a bush i might get away with it tho. PMSL

    Spotted this car abandoned in cumbernauld, spent a week thinking about it and by the time i made my mind up (persuaded the wife) it was gone. Good to see it's making it back on the road.

    I just got one of those for the new CANBUS but i think it's OBDII only. Not sure but i could try it and see. The blue cable is a bit of a faf to get working.
