  2. Nice picy's dude... 8) and no it wasn't me in the 306 with niiiiice blue neons - what a tw@ I was in my company limo parked well away from the crowd
  3. M15 VW, yeah really nice to meet you... laughing makes you feel warmer too... especially when waiting for wheels   I might even have my C next time and not have to hide my ride
  4. never worth fighting the law... well didn't see as much action today.. HiAsAKite, really hope it was only ANPR then ;) not seen too much action accross the hogs back recently but they can be very sneeky up there too
  5. Give them a call first to see if they know anything... there's a guy called Martin down there who did me a good deal when I had the old alarm removed and the new one fitted - he should remember me (we used to work together) Good luck
  6. hmmm... you may find that it doesn't offer the full closure feature. As Mike said, some alarms will alow you to extend the length of time the "lock" signal is sent to the C/L brain which effectively causes it to do the same thing as you holding the key in the lock position i.e. close the windows etc. My alarm is a Sigma and you are able to program it to send the "lock" signal for a specified amout of time which eneables you to use the full closure. Best thing to do would be to take it down to your local freindly Alarm fitters and see if they know anything about your system. I use Ian Bannings in Guildford and they have always been very helpfull and willing to explain things clearly and demonstrate how it all works. hope that helps a bit
  7. The easiest way to check is to open windows and sunroof then turn and hold the key and wait to see what closes... what alarm have you got?
  8. Hmmm... just had a call from a mate to say they are out again in force this morning  Very slow journey to work for me I think... Whats ANPR?
  9. his morning on the way to work going down the A3 to London, I was in the outside lane going pretty quick and coming along side a 5 series. I noticed he had sudenly braked and further ahead there was a police volvo. I braked too and got my speed down but it may have been too late... they didn't pull me over but there was definately a wpc pointing something towards us. I am wondering if this could have been a camera? if so it will mean I probably didn't get away with it. And, to top this off on the way back this evening I was going a bit quick (slower than this morning) and as I came up to a bridge I noticed on a tripod over each lane what looked to be cameras... I couldn't see a police vehicle on the bridge so again can't be sure if they were cameras or not :? I now feel really f'kin stoopid (and know that it's my own fault) I will be gutted if this comes to anything, will be driving slower from now on... any thoughts as to if either of these incidents will come to anything would be appreciated... Cheers Phil

  11. cheers for the pointers guys.. has anyone tried removing the headliner to make cleaning easier? just a thought but having it out in the sunshine (not sure where I'll get that from yet!) may help it dry etc...
  12. I've seen more yellow C's than I've seen met grey ones... Lovely colour and nice looking car mate 8)
  13. Quite like that tbh, saw one on dutch plates in Brighton about 6 months ago in exactly the same colour. It's deffo one of those colours that looks better in the flesh.
  14. I kepp a 6 D cell Maglite (*read - fookin heavy metal wepon )in the back of my car... haven't had to use it yet but it cetainly makes you a bit more relaxed in various chav neighbourhoods
  15. My biggest gripe are the people that have to sit in the middle lane on the motorway... I seem to remember hearing a while ago that the government are planning to start a campaign to get people back in the nr side lane. I just witsh they would hurry up!!! The worst part with these morons is that you approach in the nr side lane, then have to cross 2 lanes to go round them and then back accross 2 lanes to get back to the nr side... no matter how obvious you make it or how close you cut past them they carry on regardless!!! That and Chavs are my biggest hate and all the others previously mentioned come a very close second...
  16. The one in PVW was owned by a dissabled driver IIRC dunno if this is the same one?
  17. lol... I had that problem when I changed mine!!!

    Tailored Mats

they do look very good tbh and 25 is a good price... might have to treat my self to some of these
  19. side repeaters are removed by pulling back and pulling leading edge out. They only clip in and aren't glued as you'd have trouble changing bulbs!!!
  20. thought it looked more ttw (through the windscreen) than ott

My other problem is a rather shabby looking head lining... is there an easy way of cleaning this? What would people recomend? Cheers Phil

  23. Whilst down at the workshop yesterday I noticed that the vinyl around the rear window trim is peeling away and my roof lining is looking very shabby...
