Right I've done it! Put the deposit down for this bad boy today! It's a year old and has 6K miles on the clock - was an ex-Seat managers car :D It's not perfect yet but all the niggly bits will be sorted for when I pick it up... plus It'll have 6 months tax and will be fully serviced 8) Should have it mid Jan or earlier if they can get it sorted quick enough... Sorry for the naff quality phone camera pics - will go over again in the week to get some better ones - ride height looks high as it was parked on a slope :oops:

Test drove the new Renault Sport Clio yesterday - OMG what a fun little car! Nice amount of power and smooth delivery, sharp turn in and a fantastic engine note! Maybe not the most practicle I've considered but the most fun so far! (keep telling myself that it has cruise control so it'll be fine on the motorway :lol: ) Very keen on it and it'll be under budget meaning I have funds left for insurance, servicing and no doubt, tyres! 8) Off to drive a used 55 plate Leon Cupra R in a bit - have always loved them and also under budget 8)

Drink driving offences stay on your licence for 5 years and no longer... It's been 6 years since I since I got my licence back and this last year is the first time I've had 'normal' insurance quotes! My bad shows on my licence as a DR10... EDIT: Just a thought but second offences may stay on there longer...

Look well nice and I think will work with standard headlights too - might be a good option if they comein at less than standard ones 8) Also the fogs might be stronger than OE if they've used tempered glass :?

As for spec - the only thing that is tempting is the MP3 adaptor in the glovebox for the standard head unit - other than that all I ask is for metallic Black or Silver paint! Would prefer Black though if there's available stock! I know Colbournes had about 6 Black ones in various trim waiting to be delivered... Storm Monkey, I have heard so many similar stories but insist that my years experience with one as a daily driver was superb - lovely car in terms of comfort and quality and with the Sports spec it will be perfect in my eyes - does this sound like I'm already decided yet :lol:
