    Porsche Cup 3 17x7.5 ET52 with 4x100 - 5x130 25mm hub adapters... fills the arches nicely 8)
  3. Couldn't agree more Nick - the C is surely one of the hardest cars to find the 'right' rims for... So far I've had G60 BBS, TSW (ok, but they were cheap  ), Enzo Cups and now Cup 3's! The last 3 sets have all been in the last 18 months or so :D
  4. Are you measuring the current from your alternator or the voltage level at the battery when you're doing these tests? I ask as having the VDO gauges in mine I see same kind of voltage drop with the lights, heaters etc... but thats reading from the battery and isn't a reflection of if the alternator is doing it's job properly...
  5. You have cruise control  Not seen that on a RHD C before 8)
  6. Love them although more VW than Porker - except the badge ;) Haven't seen too many mod'd ones either so a possible unique cool ride in the making IMO 8)
  7. Austen? I can only guess now  (thought my Datsun idea was bloody good though :? )
  8. g60greeny, works out to be about £142 + shipping... am very tempted 8) Back on topic - any ideas where to get splitters made?
  9. It's funny how most people would agree that wheels make or break a car yet there are so many ideal rims people would have... the LM's Paul had are one of the nicest designs ever IMO 8)
  10. And yours does look good 8) I love the new coupe... even in white it's ok but I'd expect a discount
  11. Yeah.. one of the best looking 911's I've seen 8) This one is fairly similar...
  12. translated arz tuning to english ;) Still would like to look into getting some replicas made though if anyone has any ideas where to start?
  13. Still need to get in to The Phrim but have a few bits and pieces sorted now :D New battery fitted - this one is a decent one with 62ah so should be much better in terms of leaving it for a few days with the alarm etc on... the one it replaces (which was fitted when I had my engine work done  ) was 45ah!!! Lower than VW say it should be and explains all my flat battery woes  Also got a nice new battery cover from VW - very reasonable for £20 and one of the last 2 in the UK - so hurry hurry hurry if you're after one ;) Gave it a good clean after lunch (inside the wheels etc  ) and managed a few pics before the light went... will be having a good stab at a calender pic soon if I can keep it clean 8)
  14. Heres a pic of all red rear crystals - looks great IMO 8)
  15. If anyone could suggest what type of companies can do this type of work I'd be happy to look into it and see if this is feasable...
  16. Nice one! Damn I really want a rear strut brace now... do you have one on the front too?
  17. Just wire... think it came to about £100 but was having other things done at the time so can't be too sure...
  18. I keep saying to the Mrs that it will one day happen... and I have to admit to keeping a keen eye on s/h prices! (another discussion with vwdeviant lol) IMO owning a C is the next best thing and for now that will have to do... one day though 8)
  19. I think split rims are the ultimate wheel for the C and IMO my Cups are the next best thing until I have the money... a few examples from my rather large C picture archive 8)
  20. There's loads of wheels that have been been done before and others that haven't... those that haven't are mainly down to a) they look poop or b) I can't afford a second mortgage for those rims   These are my all time fave's but buying them and not being shot by the Mrs won't happen for a long while yet :( And then you get into the realms of colour coded centers... I think with the right choice of colour with polished lips can make a rim that may not suit the C normally work really well... Have been thinking about getting the centers of the Cup 3's colour coded pearl grey and having the lip polished but am not too sure - a make or break decision IMO :?>
  21. Datsun 280Z? Come on I must be close? 8)
  22. £5-7K seems to be the going rate for tidy ones... so would expect something in those regions. I know how selling your pride and joy is never an easy thing to do and putting a value on it can be a tough decision. However, for what is essentially a standard storm, is it not easy enough to have a look in the classifieds and base your price on the going rates? I'm not suggesting that this thread isn't a genuine value related question and that you have any kind of hidden agenda but, I do feel that a lot of these '’what's it worth threads'’ are a way of circumnavigating the forum selling guidelines... Surely you could advertise it for £7K and drop the price accordingly depending on interest? Just had a quick look on autotrader: /\ This one even has an automatic spoiler   /\ and one similar to yours is Hope that helps...
  23. All reds IMO... I really don't think the C suits a dark top tint!
