My Brembos are grubby and simple washing with soap and water doesn't seem to be shifting the brake dust so does anyone have any top tips/do's or don'ts? Is it ok to use wonder wheels or similar as I would wash my alloys with or is this bad for the callipers and the paint on them?

Well nearly 3 weeks since it came home and I still have a big stoopid grin everytime I drive it :mrgreen: Grabbed a few more pics after this mornings clean and had a play with one - which is also now my new wallpapaer 8)

Thank you 8) Going to No Rice last night in the LCR made me realise what I love about the C - it's turns a lot more heads... just want to get it sorted now so I can play in it as often as the LCR 8)

Using the KR mechanicle injestion set up, binning the cat and putting the KR cam in... Tim is confident we can get set up for 170-175 with out too much trouble as he's done similar on mk2 golfs! Also have the use of a RR to get it all set up so fingers crossed it will work out well :D

Yeah it makes great pace and isn't too bad on consumption either - managed 31.8 on the way home from work last night! Have managed to do 350 miles since Monday so it's filthy now though :lol:

:lol: I kinda like the fact that I can take it anywhere unlike the C which can't go in multi stories and has issues with speed bumps and steep slopes... think I need to have a drive in the C soon to remind myself why I love it...

Right - new year and new job have kicked in and with that cometh the new car.... how facking chuffed am I!?! 225bhp is more than enough for the time being and I'm having doubts about keeping the C for more than another year! Bottom line is that my weekend toy is now 90 odd bhp down on my daily hack... the C will be upto about 170bhp in the next month or so thatnks to The Phirm but for now my fun is here... Leon Cupra R on a 55 plate and with only 6K on the clock! It's an ex Seat UK managers car... I love it 8)

My new Leon Cupra R is insured for a very healthy figure and they've stuck the mrs on the policy for no extra fee - handy when I need her to drive me home from the pub :lol: They have insured my C for the last 3 years and I'm delighted to continue doing business with them 8)

Mine is giving me the very same sounds from the front off side wheel when on full right lock! The Phirm think it's down to the wheel bearing or CV joint but aren't too sure as it's a very odd sound! Both will be changed in the next month or so and I guess we'll find out then... I also need a front engine mount too so am avoiding driving it for the time being! Not such a problem since yesterday though as I picked up my new company car - thank god 8) Let me know how you get on if you get it sorted before I do as it does seem like a bit of a mystery to me

G60Jet, cheers mate - so it's eleven years but only count against you for 5 - fairly certain I don't have to declare them now either... at least thats what I've been told recently while ringing around for insurance quotes for the LCR 8)

What are your tyre pressures? Does sound odd! My C has plenty of feel :?
