Looks great and the leather works really well with the paint! I'm guessing the interior isn't factory fit judging by the carpet... still looks damn good though 8) -
Ahhh... a nice freindly welcome to the forum! :? We all know that there is somewhat of a dodgy story behind this car but, shouldn't we all keep open minds untill we've heard both sides? As for the car - I have to admit the colour isn't to my taste but I appreciate the hard work, time and money that's gone into this to return it to this kind of condition! So come on leec, we're all dying to know how you've ended up with this C etc etc...

Dennis.be, your colour is very similar to mine - pearl grey! Where yours gets a red tint in certain lights mine seems to get a bronze/gold one! Grey C's rock, end of! :lol: Your pic has made up my mind about getting a CF rear spoiler at some point - nice one 8)

Nice one, I love the A's! But tbh I prefer them with a bit more of a lip... also, I thought that these had problems clearing VR calipers - could be wrong though ;) Sorted the pic out for you btw!

I think VW runners are fairly similar across the range - especially cars around the same era... you will find they all sit too high though as the C's seats are fairly unique in how low they go! if it's only for a couple of days though you might be alright :?

The late bumper is slightly wider than the early one so that could have something to do with your fitting problems :? I've got an early one on mine but should have a late and you can see that the edges need spacing out slightly to get it to line up with the leading edge of the arch...

It does pose an interesting question! I'm sure you would be quite with in your rights to be looking for £10K+ but from the buyers end will someone pay that for it? I think it's often the reason for project cars being broken or butchered for a new project :? Why not go 4 wheel drive and turbo if you're looking to do something new?
