  3. Looking great mate! Where do you get your body work done and how much did you pay to get the arches done?
  4. doesn't look too comfortable for the dear
  5. Tim and Ian are both top lads... Ian got my engine set up and running perfect for the first time in 3 years and Tim put in my VDo gauges in last weekend! I'm sure you'll have a positive experience 8)
  6. Remarkably similar  Spot the new light upgrade for the Fucos owners!!!
  7. There you go David :D (it only labels the sensors though - still useful I guess)
  8. Go to The Phirm Only about a 30 min drive from Basingstoke 8)
  9. Top work that man! How have you been doing it? It's something I'm planning to do at some point when I find a spare bumper 8)
  10. I've got one on my PC for the VR - it was posted on here before! Good idea IMO 8)
  11. about time too ;) A very impressive VR! Looks good now and will only look better with time - nice one mate 8)
  12. Nice one mate! When you planning on going down to the Phirm?
  13. Lower it and keep it! Looks great and nice low miles too 8)
  14. No worries! Sanj, send me a PM and we can work something out :D
  15. I'd be looking for £30 mate... if yours is running OK then I doubt it's the switch at fault! Can't hurt to swap it though! Will have to give reaper first refusal though as I've posted it in his thread and he deffo needs one 8)
  16. reaper1_3, probably a bit late to say this but I have a throttle position switch for sale if you need one? Otherwise they're £70 new from VW
  17. Which end has it snapped? First thing you need to do is lift the grill and pull it out (I snapped the tabs on mine in the end but you may not need to) You should then be able to find the cable outer that crosses the middle of the slam pannel... If it has gone at the clamp end (near side) then hold the end of the cable with some mole grips and pull the handle - this should release the off side! Now the hard bit - bend a coat hanger and fish about for a while until you find the mech on the near side and then release it by pulling in towards the off side! (do a search for more info on this) Mine went a week ago but lucky for me Dave was round with his VR so we had something to base our 'fishing' with the coat hanger on! There's a lot of info on here already too... use the search ;)
  18. Will you be colour coding the grill again then too ;) Looking good btw - standard is fine in my book when you have a model that’s so desirable! New standard suspension is going to make it very high - higher than you'd expect as it won't have had 10 years to sag! I like it on the BBS too btw 8)
  19. Are all 4 stuck? Have you had them off yourself before or did it come like this?
  20. I had the same problem once with my TSW's - got them off in the end with an adjustable spanner and a cloth (to protect the finish on the nuts) :?
  21. petrol in a diesel is worse AFAIK My old boss did it to his 406 HDI and it was a total loss :?
  22. may just do that on the way into the office later - will have to see how productive my morning is first (dribble at the ready) :D
