I'd laquer them if I were you - leaving exposed metal to the elements (especialy at this time of year) isn't great idea :?

It does look good... i wonder if your bumper would look good if you were to just delete the fogs rather than the whole set up? (I know it's been done on the green Premier(?) car) Just think it'd tie in nicely with the rear end of yours Lee... Bad boy bonnets aren't my thang though :? EDIT: Um, yeah - thanks veedub-g60

Hello and welcome to the forum! Firstly here's a couple of recent topics on the C and engine options here and here I went for a 2.0 rather than the 1.8 as it develops more torque and you benefit from it having a later interior and the later body panels... there are a lot of differences between the 2 to be honest and they both feel very different to drive! The 1.8 revs higher than the 2.0 (which red lines at 6.5K like a VR) and the weight on the gear shift is lighter on the 2.0! I'd suggest driving both TBH and see which one you prefer! They both have the same BHP but like I said the 2.0 gives you more torque... HTH EDIT: And there's more here and here... To be honest there is a ton of info on here about the 16V, G60 and VR engines so I'm going to lock this up... the forum also has a search function which can be very useful too by the way ;)

Hello Talk! Looking sweet as it is - don't think I'd change a thing 8) Parked along side you at n/r a couple of months ago I think mate - don't think I said Hi though  Thanks for the heads up on the TRL site - I'll be down there to get some shots soon! Is it easy to get in there?
-
Get your bad self back to your local country mansion and return those expensive rugs you dirty tea leaf - posting photo's of your lock up isn't a good idea on a public forum  Nice to see it getting the love it deserves mate - wish I had a garage for mine 8)

Must admit that it already feels good knowing that I won't be going for plan B and the angle grinder  Ian also had the car on the ramps and said that it all looks good underneath so I should get low cost motoring from it for a while now :D Cheers for reminding me that they still exist Dave - has saved me many trips and money not having to send it to Stealth!!!
-
Pretty much! Reconditioned head and a brand new bottom end - no tappety noises coming from my bay 8) Sounds sweet as a nut when you rev it hard!
-
nope runs clean all the way round to 6.5K now and pulls very well in every gear :D And my MFA works again too after Ian Bannings screwed it when they had to replace my alarm due to their monkey installers  Just need to fit my VDO guages and I'll be happy for at least a week until I find/break something else

It lives! It lives! It lives! As some of you know my C hasn't run right for a LONG time now and I've been feeling very down with the whole dub scene... so about a week ago it was taken over to the Phirm with a list of issues and they sorted all of it (all for a good price 8) ) So thanks to the Phirm and Riley's AFM I have a healthy beast - all it needs now is an MOT which should happen on Saturday morning! As I'm sure you can all understand I am looking forward to taking it out for a good thrash and will have it clean and ready to shame the lot of ya in the calender pics competition soon ;)
-
Dave you jammy git - nice rims 8)
-
They might look good on A20 Lee's as he has uber bling as it is 8) But unless it is that much of a car I'd say no...
-
Infinitely variable intermittent wipe... with a max delay of around 12 seconds (I think) It is covered in the owners handbook but a surprising number of C owners are unaware of it! Nice feature IMO 8) Am gonna lock this up too as has been covered several times in the past...
-
ah erm no you have the new ones - my bad  Smooth - it really does work and tastes nice too ;)
-
Looking V clean 8) Apparently peanut butter is the best thing to get rid of wax deposits on your plastics ;) When you tinted the tops of your lights did you give it a coat of lacquer? Also noticed that you have the old forum stickers rather than the new ones  ;)

I think you should spray it blue, put a G60 in there and do a Corrado dash conversion
