Just had my usolvable problem solved by the Phirm - they're near Bordon (nr Farnham) 30min drive from Basingstoke (I work there) http://www.thephirm.co.uk/ Very good at what they do - they write the Q and A for PVW magazine and have a load of show cars down there that they're working on... and they only charge £45ph 8)

I'd be guessing at blocked fuel lines/injectors if it's been run empty?

Think there's a few of that feel our C's hate for mankind! Sorry to hera about it though... picked up all the parts needed to get mine going again this morning so with some luck it'll make it to GTI fest on Sunday :?

Really does look mint - Did this belong to Jamie before? (I think that's his name) If you're not sure what to get next may I suggest another VR ;) If you got a more normal one with higher mileage etc you wouldn't have to worry about it so much and could carry on enjoying the power/handling etc... (hello and welcome to the forum btw)

I really really don't think you should break it - far too many people are breaking perfectly good running C's!!! Stick with it and maybe advertise it on other forums - after all alot of the people on here already own a C ;) Good luck

Between the 1.8, 2.0 and G60 - just to make it clearer Paul, desciptions don't show if you are looking at posts since last visit - your question confused me for a moment :lol: oh and AFAIK the 1.8 and 2.0 valvers produce the same bhp but the 2.0 has more torque...

Yeah they have been dicontinued - I remember Big Boys Toys had them last summer though for around £60 so you may find they have stock? I had these on my 406 and it is a nice feature. Go beserk when your screen needs cleaning though :? Andi has them on his C too BTW any pics of how/where you mounted the sensor STORM 2? It's the big black box that puts me off TBH...

It's more OEM+ than FK's or InPro's... I did my own all reds but am using my FK's as I think they look way better! It does go to show that it's all about your own taste at the end of the day 8) (Also think the half smoke FK's suit the colour of my car better than all reds and may not work on other colours)

It's easy enough to do it your self mate... took this from one of my previous posts - Found the all telling thread fortinting lights This will give you all the tips on doing it your self and also has a link to the Canadian 'how to'... oh and if you're looking for a quick answer for the striping then use halfords 'go faster stripes' a small roll of this stuff is ideal for masking the lines and the right thickness too 8)

Like the lights but I'm not sure about the grill. In the favour of the grill it won't need painting before you can put it on but against is that it may be too much bling :? Good luck

yesterday - snapped bonnet cable, swore, kicked it, got bonnet open... next on the to do list - replce damn cable, fit new HT lead, dizzy cap and grill :roll:
