You'll also find that one of our users - 16V also has one of the press cars so will probably be very interested in your new C 8) as far as exhausts go you could start hereorhere for some good/bad experiences and suppliers...

I'm sure somone has them on their C on Vortex - look wrong though IMO... Nice on the right car though 8)

I have an early bumper on my late C - check my gallery for pics (click on my sig) I've changed the fogs/indicators for late ones now though as I don't share in your concept I'm afraid :lol:

I know that feeling mate :( I couldn't love it any more than I do and all I get is this - if it were a girlfriend I'd be considering that we take a break :lol:

I have a badged grill but can't bring my self to lower the tone with it :lol: I know what you're saying but having spent nigh on £5K on top of what I bought it for it owes me at least a year of fun and lets be honest there ain't much left that hasn't been replaced as far as running gear goes! I've been patient with it for 3yrs now - I'm sure another week or 2 won't kill me! Just praying to the C gods for an easy ride after this is all sorted :?

I too am impressed by them - V cool idea just wouldn't want them on my car! (mainly as it'd only be something else to go wrong) 8)

Either that or it's proudly sponsered by Satan :roll: After £400 I finally had a fully working C for all of ooow about 12hrs! It then decided that it only wants to run on 3 cylinders due to a poorly fitting HT lead... so with a bit of a wiggle the problem was clearable for oooow about 12hrs... it passed an MOT yesterday and came home alright and then when I went to start it today it was back to 3 cylinders! Wiggle... still 3 cylinders drop bonnet and slam drivers door in disgust and head over to see the folks in the passat... I then came back to have another look - this time armed with the mighty gradeA! Pull bonnet release cable - it's slack and the bonnet won't open! FFS! :roll: So after an hour of Dave's patience and my swearing we get the bonnet open - but the grill had to be sacrificed! All I need now is a HT lead, distributer cap, bonnet release cable and FK debadged grill!!! Just needed to vent that... anyone else got a C this bad or is mine the worst? Also any ideas on the best place to get the grill from - I have to have it by next w/e as it's going on the stand at GTI fest and I can't be seen in public with a badge :?

Nooooo... makes me want to leave work early and double check all my (wheel) nuts! It's bad enough that I always feel paranoid after doing anything with my wheels but this just plain freaks me out :? Glad you're OK and the damage was as minor as it could have been!

Yeah I've always used Savage spray too (carp name though :roll: ) Did my all reds on the mk1 with it and Dave and I did the rats and my C rears with the stuff too... you can do 2 sets of lights with one can if you use it sparingly 8)

Yesterday I spent 3 hours cleaning it and got a quote for my minor body work 'adjustments' and repair... will be saving beer money for a few months I think :lol: And had a the first proper drive of it in near on 3 years - I'd forgotten how good it feels to be approaching a ton by the end of a slip road :D

Very nice looking G you have there 8) I think the lights work really well with the black plate surround and give the rear a really nice contrast with the silver... and another vote to lose the grill from me I'm afraid! I'd keep the spoiler and just put a debadged 3 bar in it's place ;)
