Congratulations. Fame at last!

If they shy away from the suggestion it will probably mean they are hiding something!
-
Very nice indeed. Welcome to Corrado ownership and the forum.
-
Why not ask the seller to put a ticket on it and you pick up the tab?
-
Goldie, I think there's a place within a mile of you who did AB's powder coating. I'll give you the details tomorrow :)

Do I get the feeling someone is thinking about a sc?
-
I'm not familiar with using a mutimeter  I will try putting the wiring back to original to see what happens.
-
It does not use a relay plate, but I may have got it mixed up if the connections are in a different place

http://www.vintagewatercooleds.com/tech ... dlight.htm ....should do the trick if you fancy DIY!

I fitted the loom about 6 years ago and have had no problems until now. I'm putting the fans going weird as a coinsidence (at the moment).
-
My rad fans come on after the ignition is switched off even if the engine hasn't run and is stone cold. They turn on and off for no apparent reason and stop if I remove and then replace the 20a fuse which supplies the relay. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've just tried a replacement relay and it hasn't fixed the problem :? The problem is that the dipped lights only come on when the main beam is on. My uprated loom is only for the dipped beam and I've checked all of the connections and fuses. Any ideas?

Cheers for the offer Toad. There's no rush as the car will be off the road for a couple of weeks. I'm going to take a look today to see if any of my spare relays fit.
-
Cheers Toad. I think I've got a spare in the garage along with all the parts which I've taken of the C getting ready for the respray :D

Flashing blue lights in my rear-view mirror. Damn!

It sounds like a warning to me. They probably would have pulled you over if you were going to be "nicked" -
I used a aerosol foam upholstery cleaner from a local motor factors, followed up with a light rub with some white towelling to ensure that there were no water marks and dirt remaining. It did a really good job.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?cri ... AW&DOY=6m5 Which one do I need? Cheers :)

A cheap fix for once (fingers crossed) :)
-
Cheers. It sounds fairly straight forward.

Having lost my dipped beam and checked all the connections to my after market loom I think the relay may have given up on me  Can anyone tell me what I need to ask for when ordering a replacement? Cheers

It's national. I used the opportunity to stock up with some Megs:D

Goldie, your C is getting better by the day. I can certainly vouch for the KW's having taken your car for a spin yesterday. You have inspired me to invest!

Is this helping me remove my plastic door trim.........................

Sorry to hear what happend. I suppose the price is reasonable considering the price of Corrado parts and labour. My Polo has just had £1200 worth of work after a paper boy rode into it!

I used lots of boiling water to get the waxy stuff off. I think you would be there a long time if you used a steam cleaner.
