Corrado Spotting! Was it you? [Archive November 05]
VR6 South replied to Dub_nut_g60's topic in General Car Chat
M???VWM plate Storm parked on the back approach road to Chichester. Needs a clean  -
Should be a cheap mod. There are loads of Corrados breaking at the moment. It should be a one for one jobbie.
-
Totally agree about body shops in the area, I tried the one by Morrisons in Horndean. Didn't appear interested and quoted at least £3k. Looks like I'll be visiting Littlehampton in the near future. I have had work done in the past by Horndean Crash Repair Centre which did't impress.

Try giving Cornelius at German Auto Engineering a shout. I've been using him for years. He won't replace anything that doesn't need doing.

May be long winded but I gave it a try as a last resort before forking out on a replacement alarm. Guess what it worked :D Definately voodoo  -
VAG / Scorpion 5000 Alarm Keyfob Forgotten - Reset Procedure

I cannot take credit for this. ............ Try this. With car battery connected... open both doors fully (so interior light is on)... switch sidelights on... open glovebox and slide switch light to on position... fold down passenger mirror and switch mirror light on if not already on auto on... open tailgate so boot light is on. Now leaving everything as above disconnect the +'ve terminal of your battery and wait a bit. Your siren may give off a muted tone. Now with the alram fob at the ready reconnect the +'ve terminal to the battery. The siren should sound. Holding the alarm fob near to the siren press down and hold the activate button until you see the red LED dim. Let go of the button. Press the button again. With this press the alarm should stop sounding. Tighten your +'ve terminal. Close everything. Try setting your alarm. Hopefully all is working as it should. -
What model is the 2nd car. I'm with NU, so may give them a call as I can't justify the insurance for my other VR which only did 20 miles last year :(

Gutted I thought I had the only grey VR in the area. :!: There must be three of us because I've got one too![/quote:352c4] Hampshire - home of the Storm Grey VR and I didn't even know  -
Spotted a Pagani Zonda, last night. Nearly crashed the Polo, he was coming out the Shell Garage where I usually fill up. With an engine note like that who needs ice. Cool rating of 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Does the Corrado deserve a place on the coolwall?

Corrado now looking V strong. May not be the same when all the Chavs wake up and vote for the tasty Saxo  -
Thanks. Managed to get them for £600. Not a mark on them + excellent tyres. Well chuffed :D
-
Just brought these 8). http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1. Not the right time of year to be putting them on tho' :(

Are you sure that you're not stalking   -
There appear to be quite a few in the Portsmouth area. At least five that I know of in the Waterlooville area, not all forum users though :(
-
How many of you own more than 1 corrado.

Brought one as a second car but was too good for that. It now sits in the garage for when the other one wears out :) -

That was me, spotted after seven years of Corrado owner ship . Good to see another forum member on the M27 :D I'm usually at work by that time of day, but had to attend a conference at the Rose Bowl so had a lie in :) Surpisingly good run through for that time of the morning. -

Just caught sight of you on my way to work - and saw you wave, and then you flashed me along Winston Churchill Ave on my way home! Seems to a quite a few forum members in the Pompey area at the moment. Spotted a dark Corrado on the way out of Gosport today, waved but didn't catch the reg. -
A genuine towbar fitted for....................................... Nearly £700. Not that I bothered :)
-
Spotted you a few times around Waterlooville/Cowplain. Usually from some way behind in either my VR or Polo GTI. The VR you spotted belongs to a guy who lives in Horndean on the back road to Rowlands Castle. Not sure if he is on the forum tho' Nice to know that there is another "local" on the forum :)
-
Managed to get a metal one off my local stealers after telling them that I had already broken two of the plastic ones which are C!^P. Don't think he could argue that point :D Even gave 10% discount when I asked. They can't all be bad

Passenger headlight bulb is a doddle, like the drivers - take the whole lamp out 8) Try owning a Polo GTI, front bumper, side and headlights out to change a side light :(

Keep meaning to clean the inside of mine, but how did you manage to remove the difficult third skrew with no head?
