you can get a samco boost hose kit for the rallye fmic all you need is the rallye elbow and the piece to connect the boost pipe from the cooler exit flexable to the pipe inot the throtle body, you can just use a straight piece of tubing for this if you get a bung put into it for the air sensor It will make a huge difference! what sort of pulley are you running? the chip is dependant on that amongst other things like the injectors ps you may have to mod the towing eye on the front of the car to clear the intercollers intake
-
yeah i know that, thanks, GSF will be getting a large wad of cash from me next week for so much stuff!
-
Thats it  and you would be luckey to hit just one section
-
not a c, but lots and lots of work going into a very expencive rebuild now
-
no problem, happened to me!
-
make sure your fuel lines on the side of the block are ok, they tend to ware through on vr's!!!!!!

@olly, you will never find all the pics! When we were there we stayed in the Dorint Hotel, its on the GP start finish line, there are cars, bikes and racing trucks allover the hotel, the bar had a beetle engine in it  The indoor karting track in the hotel grounds was an added bonus. On the subject of mk1's the blue roma tuning 16v g60 mk1 was there when i was there, it sounded awesome, he trailered it down and gioes quite regularly, i think he owns roma tuning. The bikers are nuts, mainly uk bikers seem to come off the germans dont go so hard(i will be slated for that), i was passed by one going into a sieres of high speed s's and 1/4 of a mile up the road both himself and his bike were in the barrier, he was ok but the bike was far from it! The crashes are what make you think, its not a place to take risks, you go off adn its gonna hurt! Plus you have to pay to have your car removed from the track and also to have the armco fixed if you hit it! Crazy Germans

This is one for all you performance heads, i have a 1992 G60 and i have new eibach arb's for it. The back is all mounted up fine and secured to the beam, but the front i am doing next week, now since the car is 1992 and one of the droplinks snapped on me as i tried to open it, i am wondering where is good to get them, or where sells uprated ones, i looked at gti ones and they are straight, the g60 ones are offset slightly. Thanks in advance

vr6 one should be up for it! what date was it you were over? i have loads of sites that have pics of the ring
-
One of the lads is a performance car mechanic and also a pagid dealer, so just any pagid dealer, but they are a bit expencive, not sure exaclty hiow much srf is good stuff, thats the second thing to do, and dont forget to flush the system totally. Has anyone noticed the slave cylinder on the clutch dragging when it gets hot? almost like the clutch is slipping, this has happened to me on track
-
as supplied by lego
-
Bikes on the ring are nuts, just scarey when you see one pop up the inside in a bend and you have tyhe line, lots are injured, more than cars @olly, i think some harder pads and higher grade fluid is required for the next time, all the lads i was there with ran pagid yellow pads which are supposed to be ceramic and they were running fine with little or no fade. maybe next easter we might have a few corrado's there, you never know!
-
yeah thats the way to do it, plus easter is 4 days! i like the huge amounts of brake dust on your font wheels in the first pic, it shows you were going hard! With my plans, i just gotta rob a bank and finsih the car  but the thing there that is funny, to me anyway, is the amount of standard looking mk2's that just fly! its great
-
Congrats Olly! I was there last easter in a rent race car! Class place, not too hard on tyres as its quite flowing fast corners, all 160 of them  i did not want to time it either for the same reason, but some of the guys with us were doing really quick laps! last easter the gp track was open too, so the whole lap was about 18 or something miles. Next easter is my plan for the corrado to do the ring! (hence cage and all the suspension mods  )

i looked at one fitted, it clears the dash, the sunroof is fine, you may need to notch your rear door card panels, but thats it it will be about 3 weeks till i get my onf fitted, so i will know more then and let you all know, there are more pics on the site i "borrowed" that pic off  http://www.hostdub.com/Oichan_album06:P9020051

not the case, a lot of track driving school cars have bolt in cages plus when i was the nurburgring last easter i was looking at the cars and there were lots of cages that were bolt in and weichers too, hence my choice. i dont think the flexability is going to be as much of an issue as you would think. for me i want the cage for piece of mind and also to stiffen up the shell somewhat, the removable sections are going to be left in place in my car most of the time. i feel that a cage of any sort, especially if tuv aprooved, is going to be strong and give the car a good deal of extra strength should the unthinkablke happen

I dont know i have yet to pay for it  vst on here from time to time does them here in ireland, not sure if he can supply uk, but he will be able to point you in the right direction
-
yeah i knwo, my g60 is black but its 40 shades, at the moment i am trying to have that rectified, best of look! G60's are cool in black!
-
my vr6 golf got 140 something on the rollers and 174 at the fly, so it is a little down for a VR i would imagine
-
Vr6's were 190 bhp, not good to be that much down, get it checked out!
-
yeah vw figures are at the flywheel but if its a G60 it should be 160 @the fly, so 20bhp gearbox losses are not that bad, my G60 had 146 @ the fly, then i realised the silencer box was cracked at the bottom, put in a fmic and it made a huge increase in power! have yet to have it dyno'd it doesnt sound too bad if it is a G60
-
Looks class! is it black? hard to tell with the shine  Good luck with it!
-
Weichers make a bolt in one thats very nice here is a pic of it With this one the back seat stays in place and the rear diagonals are removable. Safety devices list a weld in one, but its going to mean the back seats no good

Right i have the car running 100%, turned out to be a dodgy ignition switch, so its on the button. i have no instruments, the clocks, mfa and warning lights dont work. i have the diagram of the fuse box withthe block connectors and all are connected correctly, jsut one or two questions, there are wires loped out of the main insrtument connector blocks that look to be power, i cant find a matching connector, am i missing something simple?
