thats a left hand drive abs setup, the right hand drive one is a master cylinder and then a seperate pump, that is a combined unit and as Coxy said its due to the extra outlets
-
it is doable, you need to have the bottom part of the column shorter, i am not sure how difficult that would be
-
i would say about 30mm, i have measured it but thats at home Width wise there is very little in it, well from joint to track arm to joint to track arm, the body of the rack is a little wider with the input shaft, it comes in at a much steeper angle in the mk4 than the corrado
-
Well here are some pics of the 2 racks I dont think it will work too easily, but may be wrong, the angle of the input shaft to the rack is totally different and the height as Jay said is a bit of an issue
-
i have both, i will compare on sunday and take some photos
-
Juts read the whole thread, so the feeling is that the mk4 rack should work, does it fit?
-
I know of a few people who have made the 280mm conversion on the rear they did exactly the same as Eurospec but without knowing about the eurospec ones. It makes sense if you can use the standard 280mm front disks off the G60's or vr's. But it is quite a bit of work
-
Cheers Kev! Anyone got any ideas on front toe settings?
-
ah sorry
-
Now to work this out am i right in thinking that parallel with the rear wheel is 0 then the mk3's +.5 is / and the the -.8 that kev is talking about is just .8 of a degree in? so if the suspension is all set the tow would be fairly easy to set on a flat surface? sorry if this sounds stupid, i just get confused when setting supension

Does anybody know the mechanics fo exhausts, i am going to geta system made up for my corrado, but i want to design it myself if you have 2 pipes running to seperate boxes should they be the same length and should they ahve the little linking pipes you see?
-
I had some nice camber on my old vr6 golf, i set it by eye, took me ages with rolling the car up and down the lane but eventually it handled excellently till it ate the tyres  mind you that was about 10000miles later
-
thanks Paul, I didnt want to have to go 5 stud but have to so they will fit the bill for the time being
-
Yeah got a mail from them, they used use too much aluminium but now they seem to have gotten the magnesium alloy better Only time will tell

-
