been like that for 2 years now man. never had an issue, to be fair though i do live in Oxford police here are pretty laid back compared to most places, i did the same on my old beetle, got stopped once and just said it fell off and i was on my way home to put it back on, that was that haha I imagine from watching traffic cops and such if i were from anywhere else it wouldnt be as easy to get away with. See in some places they are doing people for having their cars "too low"

UPDATES! Had a successful week last week!!!! The Recaro Seats arrived!!!!! £70 making them bargain of the year!!! My dad (who does classic car restoration) has put me on to the man who used to do all the trimming for Williams F1, he still does loads for Frank Williams bits for his wheel chair etc, does all David Coulthard customs trimming work and many more big motor sport names, All i keep hearing is he is the best there is so im excited! anyway im meeting the guy tonight (works from a workshop out the back of his house and doesnt advertise to the public) to discuss materials stitches etc and my friend who owns Hond-R tuning is sourcing me complete foam sets for both seats, as far as materials go im thinking matching medium grey leather outers to contrast with the existing grey leather interior with grey alcantara centers finished with the Recaro logo done in black then matching black twin seemed stitching! should be sexual! ALSO Mike the European sales manager for JL Audio dropped of the majority of my Audio equipment :D so that got me all a fluster! £900 worth of amplifier in the form of the Slash 1200/1 V3 then the 4 channel slash V3 and the Twin 13.5" W3's, still got 2 sets of C3 components for the front doors! THEN... Finally finished stripping out all the Factory VW sand bags and rubber/foam insulation/sound proofing and replaces with Dynamat Extreme Finally i ended up going mad with the cleaning products order at the shop so i felt it my duty to trial the products! this lead to an entire days cleaning/ detailing (may i clarify that Nissan is my neighbours and has nothing to do with my life, family or existence) So yer, Overall a very successful week, and with the cage due to be painted in the next few days and a full set of new windows En'route things are making movements! yer that exactly what i wanted though, i can get the bolsters cheap as chips! and a full re-trim was guna be done regardless on condition so given that they are ideal! im thinking grey leather to match my inside, with a oxblood Recaro logo and stitching along seems, then paint the cage the same red and use the same colour alcantara for detail works on the audio install!!!! :afro:

might have some ferrari wheels in the pipe line to, ha, either that or get some custom ones made up by image, got about 1.5k put aside for wheels, want some 3 piece but trying to avoid the BBS RS route... These are the ones i like cant decide really, so much choice when it comes to wheels

So basically ive wanted a set of the Recaro seats you get in the Jap imported Integras and Civics for like 2 years, with intentions to re-trim/ re-furb and fit to the C this specific seat will enable me to run harness's and still have fully adjustable seats, in-keeping with the contradicting race car/ luxury theme i have going on, Half decent sets going from anywhere between 500-700 and ****ty ones about 200-300, recently i found out they also used these seats in imported/ high specified evo 2/3s.... so today, i was doing my daily Recaro search.. and BAM! these were up for 50 starting bid and 70 buy it now. so i did not hesitate to click buy it now! (baring in mind i could sell the frames alone for more!!!!!!) Some Auto Upholsters in oxford (who are awesome) have quoted me £250 a seat to re bolster and re-trim in matching grey leather to my interior and my close friend who owns Hond-R tuning is getting me the foams on the cheap. So ive managed to achieve custom brand new trimmed leather Recaro seats for under £600 LESS than what it would of cost me to get a second hand half decent set...
