on the 1.8 16v there is a silencer on the down pipe which can be confused with a CAT but sadly this is one of the 16v probs as it causes a bit of back pressure meaning if always reved ull blow the baffles inside :( but there is a way round it buy getting yourself a 2L 16v or G60 down pipe and then using a CAT bypast pipe and ull notice the car drives alot better and a few bhp sould be realised aswell ;) ;)

yeah shouldnt have any probs but i would put a nice 5mm spacer just to give it a more wider look ;) p.s if its the wheels i think it is those are some nice wheels ;)

150 in some cases ;) ;) again NOT on public roads!!! track days are the best :) anyway Justin sounds like your car isnt running right even with 118K mine had 120K before it let go on a 1.8 16v engine and that pulled strong until 130 again on track :) Also like mentioned before and i keep saying Chipping a 2L 16v engine is pointless and a waste of money ull get more for you money from a head rebuild and work (i.e porting lean the fuel system etc) than a silly chip just my 2p's worth p.s i know the 1.8 16v used a slightly different ECU system but i was gettin 185bhp from my engine ;)

yeah it will but there will be some late registered 1.8 J reg 92 ones leave those alone unless u want to put the 2L bottom on later on in its life :) i remember when i was looking a couple of years ago for my mate we found about 3 J plate 92 plate so you shouldnt have a prob finding one :D

lol yeah my car should have been on the road by now but ive put my back out so havent been able to finish her off :cry: personally if you love the revs 16v is the only way to go !!!!! vr's and g60's rev range is just to small for my taste but then i cant say much as ive gone and bolted a g-lader to my engine but ill still be able to rev to 7000rpm ;) as for cars in 91 they are 1.8's and 92 are 2L's and if you get a J reg 92 u get away with all the MOT crap ;) and have a nice CAT free exhuast system which will realise alot of power ;) ;) :D

mate not just a simple change of switches you need to change the loom aswell as they have different plugs you can get the door pods with the holes for the switches for early corrado' s cant you just send them back??

personally i would go for a 1992 J plate late spec corrado there is a few out there and means you can get rid of that CAT without worring about the MOT and like K says youll get the better looking body/interior mods ;) :)

cool well for a 16vg60 your aim should be about 250 like im aiming myself :) also exhuast wise i can give you some good tips how to get round the back preassure ;) pm me and ill go through it all or if your on msn add me to your list :) as for Stealth I know them well and their work and i know the 6 speed conversion youtlak about but youll be looking at £3000 min from what i remember :( rather spend the money on the LSD and that it ;)

if your looking for a kit then samco are your only people but if you know what pipes you want you can order bends etc from the likes of Burton power (do something similar to samco) Demon tweeks (samco) etc

how much power will you have at the end?? as again mine is a 1.8 16v standard box (really should reuild it over the next year or so) but im very happy with it

why do you want longer gears??? mine used to top out at 130 in 4th god knows what in 5th but thats more than enough :)
