You'll be able to make that 300bhp mark mate, don't you worry...!! That will be a very nice setup in a corrado, can't go wrong there! Very useable as well!!

I was going to say that but I can't really work out what they've done from that pic I post.. what do you think? I bet they have just welded in some plates! Also 300bhp from your engine should be possible with cams, exhaust and re-map. Not meant to say anything but a mates going for 350bhp NA from his R32 lump! Ben

Good stuff Coxy! Coxy + Phat.. any other 4wd peeps.. There is a group buy on vortex for some rear axle camber plates. I, along with a number of other people on vortex have about 4 degree's negative camber on our cars, you guys must be the same. Anyway do you guys fancy taking part in their group buy but get ours shipped directly to the UK.. thoughts? I think its going to be about £100, but thats cheaper than a set of rear tyres?! Also I can't lower mine too much as my 8.5" rims start to hit the rear suspension, so was thinking about putting some 9mm spacers but looks like this will solve the problem. Let me know what you think guys.. Ben

Bought a tdi gearbox.. You guys are going to love this, I've been searching for a gearbox with the part number beginning in CTN. The reason for all the excitment is "IF" there were enough grunt from the engine and 7000 RPM was possible in 5th gear.. guess what speed is possible!??! ..... are you sitting down? .... ok.. = 214 mph!! hehe.. ;-) Won't get anywhere near that with 340bhp but its a start.. Really its the low rpm on the motorway I'm interested in and the fact I will be able to hit 78mph in 2nd!!

yeah yeah ... Its still for sale but I'm just improving it.. ! Will be fun to see the outcome of tdi ratios though... We'll have to get that group thrash at Bruntingthorpe sorted!

Putting the 'SALE' on hold while I do some much-needed improvements. So I'm looking to do a 02J Tdi gearbox conversion (internals) into the 02C syncro bell housing. This will not only give a much better spread of ratios for cruising but the potential top speed is quite serious. More on that later people.. Going to probably flatten the lacquer back and have another go in the engine bay and finish tidying everything so it will hopefully look neat and respectable, as its a mess still! Now its done over 1000 miles I can see what’s rubbing etc and take steps to make sure it will be all good for many 000’s of miles! Really want to finish off all those little bits all over the car. More updates soon as project corrado 20vt 4x4 enters its 5th year of evolution !!!

I've been in a 350-400bhp R32 turbo and you still struggle to spin the wheels! seriously!! Haldex is the only way forward!!! Looking cool Jay ;-)

Cheers chap.. Nope thats correct. The 'original' TVR interior cost me £500 - complete.. I then sold the TVR seats for £300 odd and the dials for another £250-300 odd.. so effectivly it cost me nothing! Then I prob used about £200-300 of glass fibre + filler + other materials and hell of alot of sweat and hardwork to get it to what it is today! Leather + retrim was on top.. It used 8 hides of leather.. so you do the math for how much the leather cost me!!

Wicked news Paul! A mate of mine fitted a complete mk4 V5 suspention/hub setup to his V5 corrado. It worked no probs. He went back to the VR suspension for a completly unknown reason but I bet it will make the car feel much nicer to drive! I love my corrado but as soon as I jumped back into my mk4 tdi the difference was amazing - its a much much better drive to say the least! Really looking forward to reading about this new lease of life for the corrado - keep the updates coming!
