  4. I think GPC Luton supply most of these. They normally have them on their stand at shows.
  5. Try disconnecting the battery for 5 mins then reconnect. Sometimes the alarm brain gets screwed up with a flat battery, this happened to me and that cured it.
  6. When the hoses get old yes so shouldn't be too concerned that something else caused it
  7. Bit late posting, but yes and If you've done the job already, should be a good un. I assume you have as you haven't posted again with a problem :)
  8. Yes they are, sorry haven't got a clue about part numbers but I have bought some before.
  9. Now you've said that it's definitely worth it
  10. Prime example Ben! I'm sure you'll agree and worth every penny :)
  11. Slight lapse into Scottishness there Gav
  12. Exactly. I think that's what makes the place interesting. There's always something or someone to capture your imagination. Calling me a ********* seems to work, lol....[/quote:b6d33] As if
  13. Glad you've sorted it Gav despite taking the p@*# earlier :)
  14. Genuine badges now obsolete. ARZ Tuning in Germany do an alternative. Oh and welcome :)
  15. Yeh, Thanks for pointing that out Gav! Can't wait for that thread to disappear - think I'll put something inappropriate on it so the Mods remove it
  16. Yeh we all think differently Tom, would be pretty boring if we didn't eh? :)
  17. Just set the heater control to hot to let water flow into the heater matrix while filling and leave the cap off the expansion bottle while running the engine to warm it up. Always works for me.
  18. Sorry Toad, don't agree, mine hasn't "he says frantically looking around for a piece of wood to touch" I have always been willing to pay more for the right car but never to a trader I have to admit. I've always trusted my judgement and luckily or not have never ended up with a lemon. Good examples are getting scarce and I'd certainly pay the right money for the right car. I'd suggest an independant inspection on this one and if it's pukka it's worth the money IHMO.
  19. There was one on e-bay a couple of days ago with a low start price - trawl through the 8 or 9 pages might still be there :)
  20. You won't be disappointed with the quality of Andy's work and the care taken with your car :)
  21. More chance of being pulled in a red car Jim as they selected the colours as you are required to play in snooker so every alternate car stopped was a red until they had 7. Maybe they don't play snooker any more :)
  22. They have been know about for ages its just the price that puts most people off. Why - How much are they??[/quote:812a6] Think they're about £20 now
  23. They have been know about for ages its just the price that puts most people off. When I bought mine a couple of years ago they were cheap. I think as they've become popular they've hiked the price, same as they did with Seat 4 pot calipers.
  24. Yes works fine, and dammit that's another unique OEM mod gone public
  25. One step back 2 forward to another Corrado?
