  1. The list between Grenobles and Davos is what we did but went through milan rather than florence. The napoleon is good but goes on and on so make sure your in the mood before setting off. We did it starting around 3 pm and all I wanted was a pint by the end. Monaco was ridonkulous!

    Knock from ns rear

Go to an exhaust centre and have them make up an extra bracket for the exhaust. Mine started doing it the day input the coilovers on lol.
  3. There is a really nice blue vr with what look like bbs rs/rm with red caps in dvla car park recently. Must be someone on here...?

    Knock from ns rear

Agree on the exhaust, is your car lowered? It's probably hitting the axle.

    Longlife Exhausts

Thanks for posting, and welcome to the forum. I've dealt with the Swansea franchise but the service put me off buying. Too pushy and when I said I could get a better price from another franchise I was told I couldn't buy a longlife elsewhere due to my home postcode. I laughed and left.

How much is one of the infinity systems?
  8. The last two years I've done a euro hoon with my mates in Elise's and this year my VX220. Last year we concentrated on the black forest, grimsel pass and did a track day in Abbeville. Tis year we headed to Monaco via the route napoleon a week after the grand prix (death bed memory doing a burn out n the pole position slot, and tearing around as the circuit was still a circuit!) then into the alps doing the stelvio, furka, col de la bonette, Susten, and a little bit of black forest. The wehr pass from Todmoos is the single best driving road I've ever seen, including the stelvio!
  9. I think that often, wish I had the balls to do anything about it though.
  10. Blue M rg VR with BBS rims in Swansea by llangefelach crematorium about half 3 this afternoon. Looked ace, though I think one of your rear lights is out lol.
  11. I have alpine G series components in my doors. Only the 5.25" versions but the sound quality n theis fantastic so I would say the 6.5 would be good too. I wouldn't spend silly money on speakers, but put some cash into soundproofing like dynamat or brown bread etc.
  12. Hi what exactly do you want spec wise?
  13. VR6 | Flash Red | Swansea Price: £4750 Description: Hi guys ive bitten the bullet and bought a new car so the vw is getting tucked up in the garage and put up for sale. The full details of my car are here August '94 car Flash red with black cloth. No wear on the seats AT ALL 2 previous keepers 84800 miles Mot to April '13 No tax at present only until the end of January. All history vw and specialist (serviced last in April) All manuals, documents, piles of receipts etc Both keys and fobs for alarm New windscreen fitted jan '12 New battery last summer can't remember exactly when New 4bar Bosch fuel pump fitted feb 2012 I have owned the car since aug '10 and the previous owner had it from 2001. Price wise I'm happy to negotiate on individual items but the options include: Private plate M5 VVX (car is M plate) Active Kenwood sub SW01 Alpine Bluetooth USB mp3 cd head unit 133BT (or Sony 5555) Alpine G series 5.25 components and 6x4s 17" Speedline Challenge 2110 OEM wheels with 6mm+ kumho 39 tyres (or 15" originals all decent tyres, one like new) BMC CDA carbon induction kit (or OEM) sounds fantastic with a replacement VW standard exhaust which was fitted around 2004. AMD ECU with printed dyno of 209.3bhp at flywheel, 167.2 at wheels at 5835rpm. Torque 199lb/ft at 5072 rpm. Recaro seats on custom corrado subframes Car will come with the 288mm brakes and weitec coilovers due to the hassle in removing them. OEM speakers and suspension can be included. Recent engine mount upgrade to the group buy poly mounts and a rubber gearbox mount. Lots of spares and tools. Including:- HT leads and removal tool Spark plug removal wrench for deep seated VR6 plugs Crank sensor Cassette tape holder BMC panel filter VR6 boot badge Like new alloy spare 15" For the car as-is and all spares etc I'm looking for £4000 After the coilovers were fitted the car had 2 geo alignment sessions at Dave Coe rally specialist in Swansea and is spot on. Engine is quiet and uses no oil at all, moves steadily up to around 106 deg and never higher. Lovely overrun pops with the remap too Clutch is crisp with nice bite though if I'm picky there is a littel slip and the throttle cable could do with a grease. The gearbox is smooth and pull is strong and never pops out or anything nasty like that. All the electrics work, inc sunroof tile and slide, spoiler, abs light etc. Alarm has total closure to sunroof and windows. Car had a full respray last year due to a shopping trolley bump and because I was itching to get it done. Work was done by Customagic in south Wales who are a full respray specialist and took out the glass and all outside trim etc. Not a dirty blow over lol. If honest the paint needs a polish as there are some machince polish swirls on the passenger wings but an easy fix I just don't trust myself to do it and it's not bothered me enough to get it detailed out. Nice to see a red corrado that's not pink lol. Im sure I have forgotten something which will come to me later, so feel free to either pm me or give me a ring on 079-555.436 48. I'll put some pics up here but more are on the build thread and I can email anything specific.
  14. If you have left a note your a bit stuffed, as it could be a month or more but you have admitted to having it. I think giving it to the police is the best bet.
  15. Hi guys, I have the links and everything else. I have chicken wrists at 6.5inch, but they photo above shows how it sits. People have commented on the size as being just right. ---------- Post added at 10:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:27 PM ---------- ---------- Post added at 10:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:28 PM ---------- Really tricky to take a picture from a normal angle but hopefully these will help show its size
  16. Hi guys looking to trade to an IWC so selling my speedy pro. The first watch worn on the moon. Condition of the crystal is 10/10 Condition of the case is 10/10 Condition of the bracelet is 9/10, but the clasp has some scratches on it due to the amount of computer work I do so it's always against the desk. I have high res images available pm me with an email address for anything specific, but photobucket won't accept them for posting. I have the box, papers etc from when I bought the watch new from Fraser Hart Swansea. Box and papers are in new condition having just sat in a cupboard. Keeps time within chronometer criteria, around +5s daily, so very accurate. Current SRP for the watch is £2880 and I've been offered £1500 in trade against the new watch at Parkhouse Cardiff, so looking for £1750 Ono. Delivery would be possible but I would need to check insurance costs etc, so cash face to face deal would be preferred. I'm in Swansea. Cheers, Pete.
  17. Mine was also a 4100, but it sounded awful...
  18. I know a few body shops locally but not cheap to be honest you get what you pay for when it comes to spraying. Suspension wise Dave Coe in gorseinion are good for setting up a car. I got Andrew at kingsway to fit my weitecs then dave did the geo.
  19. Swansea here, not far. If you want any help with it let me know.
  20. Fuses are under the right hand tray below the steering column. There are two square lugs to pull down and out then slide the tray out to show the fuses and relays.
  21. Is your sunroof working? Sunroof and spoiler are on the same fuse (16 if I remember). If it starts it's not spark, so fuel or immobiliser more likely. Relay for the fuel pump maybe? You can hear a noisy pump near the fuel cap or from under the rear bench, but a good pump I almost silent anyway.
