Hi, I've removed both front wings, slam panel, crossmember and rad support to clean/paint and just wondered if I go one step further and remove my subframe, will the engine be ok supported by a beam across the wings? ie all the weight will be on the inner wings only. Cheers.

Hi, Have asked before, but not found correct part yet. Does anyone know what thread pitch the banjo bolts are for 288mm calipers? They are not m10 x 1, so am thinking either 1.25 or 1.5 - does anyone have any for sale? Thanks.

Hi, Can anyone tell me the spec for the banjo bolts needed to fit Golf MK3 16v calipers to 288mm discs? I think that they are M10 but certain of thread or length. Thanks.

Hi, Quick question re bigger brakes set up - I have calipers and new brake pipes for 288mm conversion, but no bolts to fasten pipes to the calipers - where do I get bolts from? (VW?) do I need a washer as well? Thanks.
-
Great - I'll have it so save for me, I need to see when I can get across due to work, so will be in touch ASAP. Thanks, Tim.

Right, think I'll remove the radiator support and clean up and repaint. The spoiler bar is the part I'm after, and I'm only down the road in Doncaster - how much do you want and is it in good condition? Cheers, Tim.

Hi, Does anyone know which other VAG cars have the same crossmember which supports the radiator and has power steering pipes running through it? If I can find a decent replacement I won't then need to clean up the original, which has seen better days. Also, has anyone got a good replacement spoiler support piece which joins the spoiler and crossmember? Again, mine is quite badly rusted. Cheers.
