Bloody typical! Been looking for my original ones for weeks and they turn up just after posting on here. Many thanks for the quick response Chris, but obviously I'm now sorted.

Wanted - plastic side supports for front bumper 1995 VR6

Anyone breaking or got body panels from a Metallic Black late Corrado?

Will this one end up being epic like your last one or the TT? -
Sweet!! Nice to see it back with someone who cares - will be worth all the effort in the end!!

Bummer!! They don't appear to do wipers for a BMW E30.
-
Probably a long shot, but I'd buy it straight away if first two don't - let me know if not sorted soon.

Standard size is 205 50 15, and every inch bigger for the wheel means dropping a size for the sidewalls, so 16 inch wheels would mean 205 45 16, and 17 inch wheels would be 205 40 17. Main thing to remember is that whatever size you go for the rolling circumference needs to be as close as possible to the original 15 inch wheels.

Looking good - nice to see the effort you're putting in on it. I remember it being pretty quick when I owned it. In hindsight I think it would have been better with 16" wheels but those Azevs are the dogs b*llocks in my opinion!!

Is that a flat screen TV at the front??????

If you jack the car up the suspension should drop low enough to get to the bolt - be careful though and put it on a jack stand

Loving that headlining!!

Easy - get one!!!

I bought a Bilstein B12 suspension kit for my VR6, and it came with the well known problem of the wrong rear springs. These have now been swapped for the correct items, and the original springs have done around 100 miles. Can't remember the part number but it's still visible, if they fit any other Corrado then they are available free of charge but plus p+p.

Hi, need to buy some service bits for Audi cab and polo but can't find any codes for GSF that are valid apart from 25% - they seem to have stopped sending me emails advertising up to 45% which came thick and fast before Xmas. Anybody know any current ones (I've tried snow49 as per GSF ad on this site but not working)

Sweet!! Lovely looking bay and engine - what's the rest of the car like? -
Sean, I've used the epoxy paint in that link - the thing is you can mix it as thick as you like because you can also buy thinners with it for whatever job you're using it for. I did my subframe and left it neat, but would thin it down for smaller/more delicate jobs like brake shields. Mines not a daily driver but it's looking ok so far. Tim.

I've got a 225 as a daily, and apart from the known coil pack problems it's been absolutely spot on. I've changed the cam belt, suspension, brakes etc but I'm sure we've all done that to the Corrado. As odub says make sure it's got decent history or proof of servicing and things like the Haldex oil change and cam belt done and you should be ok. Also a remap transforms the car!!! Can't think of anything with a better interior or more quality feel for the money, they are still underrated.

Just to let you know the abs bypass wasn't me!! I did fit the stealth shelf though, but the door cards were still cloth as were the seats when I had it.Not surprised the suspension was past its best, I remember it being very firm though when new.

Rob, I struggled to find aqua blue pearl so in the end I bought a can and lacquer from someone in Ireland off eBay - it was mainly for the drivers side a post and sill under the plastic trim so not crucial for a great finish prior to proper respray at some point, but I as very pleasantly surprised with the quality of finish. Let me know if you want me to try and find out who I got it off. Cheers, Tim.

I would recommend BMW e30 wiper arms - a lot cheaper than Lupo or TT. Saw a thread on here a while ago and tried them - need the driver side spacing slightly from the bonnet and longer blades but that's abou it.

Later VR6's had a plastic cover, not sure when the change over was.

I've got a couple of wings in decent condition Stu, I'm near Doncaster - whereabouts are you? Tim.

Cheers Jim, will definitely try a Bosch one. Tim.
