Hi all, Looking to replace my VR6 coil and leads - is a Beru coil at £166 worth the difference over a Topran from VW heritage at £100? Obviously heard of Beru but not sure about Topran. The £66 difference would go a long way towards some Magnecor leads!!

Need a late front bumper skin, any colour OK as long as it's in good condition and has all the fixing lugs on e back, as close to Doncaster as possible. Thanks.

Just put axle stands in front of the front suspension struts on the chassis rails - had mine like that for weeks while I had all front suspension and subframe removed. -

It's still on the car Jim, just waiting for the B12 to arrive and then swap - I'll see if I can sort a photo out and send it to you - it's not super low but it does remind me of my old G60 which was 40mm drop although that also had 17" Azev A's which didn't help the ride!

For sale Weitec springs and shocks for VR6, lowers 40 mm. Very good condition, been on car for less than 100 miles, decided it's too low so swapping to Bilstein B12. Cost over £400 new and looking for £200 plus postage or collect from Doncaster, South Yorks.

Thanks for the offers, but it's a brand new exhaust so I'm going to get a new cat, just wondered whether a sports cat like Jetex would be better than an ECP or eBay version

I've got a split in my vr6 catalytic converter and wondered whether anyone had replaced with ECP replacement or eBay special which seem cheap enough, but I currently have a Jetex non-resonated exhaust and was thinking of their sports version for around £250 - any thoughts or advice? Cheers.

Looking at things again I've sorted by using a couple of nuts and bolts as rado87 suggested and also managed to re use four of the clips - they had bent more than broken off, so happy I don't need to source a new bumper skin. Thanks for the advice from you both.

Only one fixing is ok, the others have snapped or pulled off - will have a look tomorrow when I've calmed down a bit to see whether I can fasten it with tie wraps or something.

Managed to rip my front bumper skin off by trapping the spoiler on my ramps when reversing off - problem is the clips holding the skin to the bumper bar have broken off. Any suggestions as to how I could re fasten the skin to the bumper bar? Gutted!!!
