  1. Accelerator pedal is supposed to not have one you can use a golf one not sure if mk1 or 2 though for prices on disc's try euro car parts.
  2. Can't see it mate the whole point is taking everything into account including running cost's etc the corrado win's hand's down simple as i have demolished an M3 with 290bhp and i mean demolished totally agree with your later comment's i had an LDV Maxus sitting beside me on way back i was trying not to look but in the end had a look the guy was waving and giving the thumb's up so i gave it a squirt and then slowed back to cruising speed when he came past he was so happy they will always be appreciated more than any M3.
  3. I've done too :lol: don't know what's going on it is amusing though.
  4. What's with the max headroomesque post's paul  have you been on the pop
  5. It may be dragon green look's nice suit's the wheel's to a T. :D
  6. Look's very nice mate what colour is it? can i see a hint of green there :thumbleft:
  7. I know I would have to upgrade the brakes which would mean getting larger wheel's which is something i would rather not do the way it is set up just now it is still relatively comfortable that is the only thing that put's me off doing it though i have been researching cast inlet manifold the standard plastic one on R32's don't fill me with confidence got a couple of thing's in the pipeline.Going for a new map tomorrow i will have a better idea of what to do next after that.
  8. Very kind of you to say Craig tasty brakes i have (Brembo's) no intercooler though it does have a large radiator you may have mistaken for an intercooler. It's a bit of a handful just now with 290bhp need to start saving for turbo kit :thumb right:
  9. I'm not sure what final drive is in mine i presume it is standard VR6 though Stoney had it rebuilt when getting the peloquin installed i haven't went all out in it yet :D
  10. I have done with 290bhp :cuckoo:
  11. The thing you are forgetting OEM is even though i have an R32 under the bonnet i don't drive it like a nutter so saying it is putting everything under strain isn't really relevant but the power is there when you need it you have your view on it mate but we are not all the same ;)
  12. That's a bargain price your a star sorting this out matey thank you.
  13. I have had no experience of a VRT but have had a turbo powered car in the past in that case it had 4wd so traction was not an issue but i imagine the VRT would suffer from traction issues however I have a peloquin LSD in my R32 and suffer no traction issues I also know a VRT would have an R32 but in certain situation's it would be hard pushed. So basically what you need to do is get an R32 powered C and lob a turbo on it nothing will get near you oh and while you a talking about getting a Porsche mine only has 290bhp with it I have punished a couple of them you would be gutted if you got rid of the C got a porsche then the following week got hammered by a C hope this help's

  22. You are so correct in what you say mate a VR6T is a weekend play car no good for the tootling about. ---------- Post added at 1:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 1:40 PM ---------- Didn't realise that was you Jim would have had a chat if i had known ;)
  23. Have you considered R32? I have no problem's with modern diesel's or just about anything else for that matter  thank's for the kind comment's regarding my car it is a bit marmite for some people but then it's not their car and to be honest i am not trying to fit in and won't just to feel part of something i aint finished with it yet either.
  24. I have been having a think about this and am more than up for it after the reaction the R32 got at Stanford obviously not everyone's cup of tea certainly won't put me off doing my car my way i'm sure i will receive a better reception from fellow scottish owner's so count me in i'm sure it will be a laugh with Bill
