Good, I will send you a PM.
-
Haha that question was aimed at 'sankysvr6'
-
Iain, Not at the moment but I think what I'll do is ask for a £10 deposit to secure the next one, that way I won't miss anyone out. Let me know if this is acceptable?
-
Hi, have I missed you out? I seem to lose track occasionally.
-
Will you be sending it back?
-
I bought these a couple of weeks back from United Motorsport, see here http://unitedmotorsport.co.uk/products/12v-vr6-sump-baffles/ I paid £33 posted, would like £25 posted. The 'welded in' photos are provided by United Motorsport. Thanks Dave

Am I too late for one of these? I'll take one if not. -

I'll take one please. -
Rog, sounds fine to me. The aux pump and fan run for as long as needed with engine off. Runs this way on mine.
-
Yes I have one available, PM me if you want it. Dave

Sorted the tensioner pad, there's a hole for a small screwdriver that releases it, it's actually in the Bentley manual. Fitted the chains both ways and there was no difference, they've only got about 1500 miles on them.
-
Hi all, I'm swapping the chains and tensioners over from my buggered engine to the replacement, now do the chains have a direction of rotation as per the Bentley manual (arrow on chains) or not as per the Wiki guide? I have genuine VAG chains with no direction arrow. Also on the lower chain tensioner can I press the pad back in before I re-fit? It doesn't seem to want to push back and I don't want to force it. Cheers Dave
-
Jim, I've got a couple coming out of my replacement engine soon if you get stuck. Dave
-
Pleasure.
-
Ok, no probs.
-
Rog, PM sent. Thanks

Hi all, Anyone got a BMC CDA strap (the part that wraps around the box) they can lend me for a day? Thanks Dave

Pic attached.

Just found it, £5 posted ok?
-
I've got one somewhere just need to dig it out.

I've got a set of fogs you can use to measure up, they are still in the plastic surround. I'm at M1 J25 so not too far away if you're near Shawshank. I'll take a pair of clear headlight covers too.
-
Got a feeling I threw one of these away recently but I could be wrong.

Been a long time since I did the conversion, if I find time I'll take a look at it. Sorry can't be more positive, been busy lately.
