  1. It's looking likely I'll be sticking with the 12v, got to watch the pennies.
  2. To be honest it looks like I'll be sticking with the good ol' 12v so I'll be sticking it on mine when it's up and running. But don't despair, if it proves worthwhile I'll most likely have some made up.
  3. Much prefer those rims to the others, looks good!
  4. I've made a prototype for my car but it died before I could try it out.
  5. Adam, yes I have some kits, drop me a PM if interested. Dave
  6. Took the head off a week ago and found the head gasket to be intact and oil in cylinders 1 and 2. Cylinder 3 has some scoring to the bore. So it looks like piston rings and/or valve seals, either way it's going to need stripping right down. The oil on the head is not as a result of the problem, it was tipped up leaking oil from the top of the head. Not sure what my plans are for it, I've got a few options but not decided yet, no rush now that Winter is on it's way.
  7. Freshly blasted and powdercoated today is an ABS Pump Heatshield for a VR6. This is the one that bolts to the left hand side of the ABS Pump. I've got a powdercoated one on my car and will throw in Stainless washers and nyloc nuts too. The Stainless nuts against the Black really sets it off. £15 posted.
  8. Apologies, not had chance to post yet as I've had other stuff to post too. Will post it early next week. I haven't received any PM's from you.
  9. 180k on mine but it's recently gone pop! Not sure what the problem is yet but I'd say piston rings.
  10. Yeah sounds good to me, £3 will cover postage. Same payment details as before.
  11. I can refund you the money for that.
  12. Ahhh sorry about that, did it get damaged?
  13. Early VR's had the Ali rocker cover as standard, got one on mine, the change came around 1994 I think.
  14. Strange you should ask as it'll be posted today by TNT from my work and seriously not just because you asked, just a coincidence. Thanks for being patient.
  15. I'm using Solid Edge and have been for about 12 years. Recently started using Solid Works but SE is my mainstream package. They've both got their advantages but for me I'll stick with SE.
  16. That's a shame Andy but you have to do what's right. Good luck with the new mota and hope we meet up again sometime soon pal.
  17. I can do 16v but will need to make them up.
