How about £10 posted? I supply short shifters for the Corrado and this is exactly the same removal procedure.

Had to laugh at the Big Mac meal.

I can send you a bush and a cotter pin. You will need to remove the gear stick assembly to access the cable end and it is a little fiddly to fit the bush. I had to change one for someone recently and used a nut, bolt and washers to press it in. Can probably supply these too.

In excellent condition, £70. I don't have a lot of spare time at the moment so collection only from M1 J25 Notts/Derbys. Thanks Dave

Drop me a PM if you prefer.

James, Huge apologies for not getting back to you, I've been way too busy. £25 posted for the window reg. I tried removing the scraper seal but couldn't get it off without bending it so it's in the bin now.

PM sent.

Stonejag, don't have a source for the rubbers but it has crossed my mind to have some made. PM sent. Sean, they don't come with bolts although I do supply them them with the top 'L' shaped brackets. I can supply you with a couple though.

Sean, Yes mate, I'll drop you a PM. Dave

No washer required. VAGCAT doesn't list the bush or the cotter pin separately, might be worth a visit to your local friendly stealer.

Sent you a PM last night.

Yes you have a bush missing which explains why there is excessive movement and why it drops off the end of the gear stick. I've got loads of spare cables with bushes in them if you can't get a new one.

Sounds like it's down inside the box, the plastic parts maybe from a previous repair. Without a photo it sounds like the cable end has come away from the pin on the bottom of the gear stick. The pin holding it on may have broken. You need to remove the the gear stick, to do this you need to remove the large centre pin, it's held in with an 8mm bolt but you will need to cut away part of the floor flange to allow it to slide out. I have this detailed on my 'short shifter' install guide. The only other way to remove it is to drop it out from underneath after removing the exhaust. Post up a photo if you can, however bad it is. I can send you a replacement pin if that's what you need. Hope this helps.

Are you talking about cable connection on the bottom end of the gear stick? There is a ring on the end of the cable that houses a bush that can disintegrate with wear and there is a cotter pin that holds this cable on to the end of the gear stick.
-
Yes, does it on mine too.

Quick update - parts are now in but I won't be able to start posting them out until week commencing 10th June. I'll start sending PM's for payment. Thanks

I guess injectors can wear differently depending on mileage but it would be handy to know what the flow rate should be from new. I'll stick em in and see what results I get. Just thinking about it I might drop Mr Injector an email and ask his advice. Anyone else got their after service flow rates they can post?
-
Got my injectors back last week. I do have a small worry, the flow after service (avg 72) appears to be down on what Pete has got (avg 78 ). The injectors came off my 94 VR breaker and the part numbers match what I have on my VR so I'm pretty sure they're the correct injectors. Any thoughts?

That's ok, I've got used to them coming back months later.
-
Yep starting to bother me now.

The 2 shifters have now been sold but a third person has dropped out so I have another one available now.
