  2. of course, thats if the heads off the car.!!
  3. well up untill tuesday evening i had these two. but now the corrado has gone to a new home. just got the s4 , the misses mk5 golf. then the gas wagon.
  4. these where g-werks spec g60 cams. i think they are ground to gwerks spec. to work with the cnc heads.
  5. i sold my corrado. but i did clean it so it looked beautiful. does that count...
  6. but you can use leon 323 discs and ibiza calipers. but wont over come your problem. you should need ibiza caliper carriers and 305 discs to bring the offset in. pics are ibiza calipers and lean discs and caliper carriers.
  7. ha ha. honest darling its a car picture!!
  8. mines up for sale. have a look. not standard looking thou. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=60986&p=715456#p715456 make me an offer. oh and i went to wales and back 320miles on a tank steady 80 all the way. occasional blast .
  9. i still haven't fitted mine. put a new clucth cylinder on and fresh oil. just havn't got the time. amd my new engine isn't as strong on the bottom end at the mo. and i'm thinking of selling up :( had the c for 6 years. spend nearly 20k over that time. wanted a r33 but looking at a s4 this weekend. might put the box in the car when seling it comes reality.

    Exhaust Mounts

well i had to groung off the rear hanger and weld a plate on. these are exhaust bobbins from a mini.
  11. could be 1. ignition switch. common an cars of age.- luckily cheap to fix althou a bit fiddle. 2. the hall sender in the dizzy has broken. - sometimes a pot hole is enough to damage them. or just age. i had one go just out of the blue. when inspected the magnet had shattered. 3. possible the ecu relay. i've never experienced this. wouldn't even know where it is.
  12. also it worth noting, the lift on the newman is so massive. you have to grind the edge off the port which holds the hydralic lifter. this alone is a pain in the arse. unless you have access to a an air grinder, you have a cylinder head full of aluminimun. which of course you can get out. and it only takes a small amount to knacker a lifter. then it all has to come out again., so no dont get one.

    Which way round?

yep i belive they should 'eat' into the caliper.
  14. i have one and find them a bit lumpy. nothing special at all. cheap. try the piper 270h instead
  15. very interesting curve. All that from just head work and higher boost via the smaller pulley? How did you blow it up in the end then? tooth belt snapped and split a piston. after a rebuild it was never the same. and during the rebuild i must have had some muck in it cos it broke another piston. and scored the liner. shit ha.
  16. rpm head,35mm ex valves,piper270h cam, grey injectors. the lotus chargecooler( for sale) water inj std bottom end tsr 4 branch. 65mm pulley. its the the thicker line of the two
  17. on my old engine it made 235 ftlbs at 2k across to 5k. ... then i cocked everything up and it broke. :(
  18. thats why chitty chitty bang bang never made it to production.!!
  19. looks like a bahnbrenner supercharger conversion. got to say .sod livin with that whine. christ.. :pukeright:
  20. yes but people dont forget ,big valve heads. (only the cnc heads flow as much as the 16v) you will loose low down torque for higher hp. the opposite to what you wanted. if its high torque bore out the bottom end and only hand ported head. with a mild cam. eg piper 270h. and a 65mm pulley. (this may not strickly be accurate but in may personnel experience.)
  21. well hay why not a mustang v8 s/charged. or just go with a vr6 t or a 16vt. plenty of kits now avalible. check out germany for 16vt bits and usa for vr6t bits.
