Yup...chances are they wont pass, as the brakelights have been covered with the tint spray too! If they were pinstriped with tint over the brakelights they would prob be ok! Otherwise I wouldn't chance it unless I had asked the MOT guy beforehand!
-
Being a standard set of lights, they will fit perfectly! Just remember that you can get a can of savage tint spray for about a tenner and tint your own standard lights pretty easily though
-
they are just standard OE hella lights tinted with a black tinting spray, by the looks of them!
-
Silly question, maybe! But how come this car is still up on Ebay  Clicky (assuming that not many of these come up on ebay, and that this is the same car)
-
Cheers! thats what I was looking for! Didn't want to be pulling it the wrong way and breaking the thing

so you've given up on the idea of selling the Vento then?  -
The small black plastic triangular bit behind the wingmirror.....this bit....(circled in the pic) I've removed the obvious screw....but does this black plastic triangular bit just prize off with a screwdriver? Or is it screwed from the inside (doorcard off job?)

My Scirocco is still sitting in my garage with everything stripped out of the front wheel arches. Still waiting paitently to be put back together! I'll find time to do it one of these days! -
nope....just a camera man, and two police guys trying to look as cool as possible infront of it
-
Came back to my car earlier to find one of those reality tv cop shows getting filmed in/around a car blocking the road right infront of me :-P Made sure to make lots of noise whilst I was driving around them! the camera was deffo pointing in the right direction, so I should prob be in camera shot for all of 3 seconds   :-P
-
Yeah chrishill, is right...comlete misleading advertising! Report it to ebay straight away, before the seller does something nasty and reports you for not paying for it
-
The worst I saw was on a twisty section of regional (B) road over in ireland. Guy in an artic truck with a 40ft container on the back came tearing along the road: 1 hand on the phone, talking to someone and the other hand grasping a sandwich   Seriously asking for trouble!!!!
-
Thats what I did.....IMHO give the rear a nice bit of contrast between the black and red

Yeah, there was something about them promoting someone off the rally to a second organiser position...so that ment there was one of the first position available again! 8) -
Dynamat? :-P Mine will be looking very similar - very soon if that is the case!

German courier service called DPD...dunno who they use to deliver within the UK because they never left any delivery cards!!
-
[rant]Ordered some shocks and springs for the Scirocco off German Ebay early last week! and expected them to arrive early this week...but no sign of them! So yesterday I get a message from the supplier in Germany...saying there is some poroblem with my address, and could I confirm it with them....which I did. So today I get a message from the guy saying that the courier had tried to deliver the parts on two occasions and that they had now been returned to Germany, and that I have to pay postage costs again!! :x :x :x :x He finally gave the the package tracking no today...and they did try to deliver it!..but they didn't leave any message on either occasion to let me know that !!!....and as I didn't have the tracking number I had no idea what was going on!!   and I needed the damn parts to work on the car this W'end....the way some people do business just annoys me    [/rant] :-P

Try Parcelforce, or maybe http://www.parcel2go.co.uk....but I've never had wheels couriered...so I'm only guessing here.
-
I've spent the last three weeks waiting around the house for couriers....or else driving to depots to pick up car parts!!!  I'll have to charge Steve by the hour, for my "waiting time" :-P
-
Whichever one youy try steve....see if they'll deliver the wheels to me at a set time, of if they can call me before they deliver!.....Just so I don't have to be sitting around all day waiting for them! And ask if they'll deliver to my garage instead of my house, as thats where I'll be dumping your silly wheels anyway  :-P

Any of you guys planing on driving the car back after the rally? -
WOW!!!.....STS suddenly seem very cheap
-
  ....it's not that bad really! They come well recommended and they did a good job on mine! Cost me £47 two years ago to get the camber and alignment set. Which is prob a bit more than a cheap Kwik-fit alignment. But I figured I was better off getting the job done properly
