Do you have a thread running about your starting problem or do you want suggestions posted in here?
-
'Clarkson doesn't hold back if he thinks a car is sheeeite'. I'd like to bet that I'd struggle to find anything wrong with 99% of the performance cars he doesn't like!
-
Unfortunately it's not just this country, they're everywhere. Grrrr.
-
Well that's a bit daft! :) Why would you even take the risk?
-
Well my 1.8 16v injectors didn't fit the 9A engine in my friend's Corrado, in that the thread on the end of the injector was bigger on the 2.0. I swapped the pipes over as well and they fitted the metering head though.
-
So, just to confirm, these are being fitted to a 2.0 16v or a 1.8?
-
That's excellent news, congratulations :thumbleft:

You'll have to comfort yourself with the thought that he's hung like a church mouse on a cold day :)
-
So the SVA test went well?

"...in the naaaaaaame of loooooove....once more in the name of love..." Nice soundtrack :) -
Off-topic but did the Royal Mail manage to get that indicator loom to you without losing it? If so, was it any good?!
-
Are you sure the depth of the head unit is covered in the DIN specification? I'm gonna have to go and look that up! I wouldn't be surprised if the DIN standard only covers the slot height and width or something stupid. * EDIT * The "dimensions of the installation space for a car radio and its electrical connections" would appear to be standardised in DIN ISO 7736:1984 but everywhere wants to charge $29 for the pleasure of reading it. Gits.

Corrado-ville! Small town - Cs everywhere!
bcstudent replied to Bojmobile's topic in General Car Chat
It never ceases to amaze me how many Corrados are still on the road. My mate was telling me how great Peugeot 205 GTIs were today, so I asked him when was the last time he saw one! The same goes for other 'performance' models, like Renault 5 GT Turbos, etc. They've just rotted into obscurity. -
It was his idea! :)
-
I'm so jealous it hurts :) Congratulations dude.
-
I really can't decide if they look good or not. I think I'll have to wait until there are a few more pictures around.

Watch out, watch out there is an RS4 about
bcstudent replied to Andy Brookes's topic in General Car Chat
I'm pretty sure they're only illegal after dusk. As long as you're carrying a clear visor with you as well you're safe; at least you are around here. -
^^ what he said :)
-
Well, if the problem isn't sorted with a new fuel filter, I'd be hoping for the in-tank pump to be the problem as it's the cheapest and easiest to change.

Corrado-ville! Small town - Cs everywhere!

I live in a town of about 18,000 and there are five or six Corrados I see around regularly, plus a load more in Norwich. -
It'd be a lot easier to offer a suggestion if you told us what cable colours you were shorting out :)
-
Try this...page 7. Not the best diagram, and I'm not even 100% sure it's for a VR6, but it's a start!
-
I agree, they don't look as good as I'd imagine.
-
How come he has 100% feedback? Didn't you get a chance to leave negative feedback double-6s?
-
There's a good chance but, if it's still making a noise, nobody is going to be able to answer that for definite without testing the fuel pressure.
