not all corrados came with a cat,not sure on the year,i should think yours hasnt got a cat fitted with it being a g reg

it is a design flaw,thats why peple change it for the mk3 and now mk4 alloy calipers,a would say the cable would be pretty much ok as they are well sealed,ive got the same problem on my rear drivers side caliper,which is seized and not the cable

theres a spring off a ford granada or something like that,its stronger than the vw one and stops the handbrake lever from sticking

i always use toyo proxes,get mine from demon tweeks,on my old speedlines i paid £90 for 2 from tweeks

spoier, just look at what engines in MADDUB, corrado 20v turbo!!

could be your battery that need relacing or the alternator,best bet would be to get it checked out at a auto electricians

with two pack you need to add an hardener to the paint,and with the old style two pack,you had to wear an oxygen mask as the fumes contained cyanide(i think)but its all been changed now

Why is my throttle cable wrapped in plastic?

yes its supposed to be there,it basically stops the cable from rubbing in the inside of the outer shroud,if it wasnt there it would eventually wear the throttle cable and cause it to fray and get caught in the outer cable -
i need a spark plug lead remover,but my local stealer will only sell me a crappy plastic one

best way would be to try and take the grill off and look at where the cable goes,you might be able to grab the cable and give it a good pull to realease the bonnet

i had that happen on my old 16v,had me worried for a bit,changed the both high and low pressure switches and it was fine from then on -
can you start the car with the alarm going off??you still should get insurance but you will have to send them a vsib certificate to prove youve had a cat2 imobiliser fitted,and they only cost around £80 fitted
