do you remember top gear a few years ago where they put an old jag up against some fast cars and raced them around the track,and the jag got whupped??they then fitted NOS to the jag and raced them again,i think you can guess the rest

im not 100% sure but 8mm springs to mind?

it means theres a fault with the abs system and that its not working correctly,you could try giving the sensors a clean to cure it,if not you will need to get it hooked up to vagcom to pin point the fault

i had that problem with mine,i had to dissconect the wires from the alarm unit then reconnect after a minute or so,then it would reset itself

what corrado have you got?

you will need to remove the bumper,then you will see the 10mm bolts that hold the slam panel on,..thinking about it though you should be able to take the alternator off with out removing the slam panel,id look at mine but the engine is living on an engine stand at the moment

probably easier to take off the slam panel,but you could get at it from the top with a bit of a struggle and scrapped knuckles
