i went from the corrado vr6 plugs to the golf vr6 plugs and it stopped the fouling a lot,the c vr6 plugs are 4 point and the golf vr are 2 point,and it made a lot of difference

i had some mats from justmatz and didnt rate them at all to be honest,to me they felt to stiff,and on mine the backing was white,and i spilt a bit of lager on them whilst at a show and they went mouldy within a couple of days

ive currently got a pug 405 diesel which is curreny showing 247000 miles and still goes well,and does about 400 miles on £30

to be honest the bonnet is pretty much earthed anyway,if it wasnt very well earthed then why would the attatch an earth lead to it? now i bet your thinking is the bonnet earthed to the body or is the body earthed to the bonnet :lol:

funny you should say that..my 1st choice was a G60 but the VR6 came up for sale locally

mmmm strange..my cars gone from being listed as a VR6 to now being a G60 edit:ive now changed it back to VR6

when my bonnet cable snapped i had to remove the grill,which is very easy but just be carefull,you can then just give the cables a bit of a pull

i did work experiance once at a radiator repair company,if its done right then it should be ok

you wont be dissapointed with a magnex,ive had one on my vr6 now for about 2 years,the fit is just perfect,ive had my car lowered to the very limit(just for car shows)and it didnt knock,the blueflame exhausts ive heard are quite loud -

£800 is a bit much,you may be lucky and could of only bent a couple of valves,and a new cam belt and tensioner wont cost a lot either..better post up your location so someone could recomend a vw friendly garage
