The rad support isn't structural, the crossmember beneath it takes all the load.
-
Have you checked the voltage at the battery? Since it was flat it could be not charging properly and the ecu is not getting 12v on idle.
-
I can't watch any of these type of half-arsed entertainment shows anymore. Just *******ised to death.

Take your petrol tank out and check the upper mounting point, along with where the solenoid actuator pin for the fuel cap lock comes through. Mine, although mint everywhere else, is very rotten up there quite badly. Chances are you'll find rot there if your rotten at the right rear strut top.

It's one thing after another for most new Corrado owners unfortunately. It's like an apprenticeship.
-
I don't recognise it either and I've not long rebuilt mine.

You can pick Speedlines up for £100 in rough condition. Good sets would be £300 max with tyres.

£850 Speedlines/Nangkang combo...... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5x100-15-VW-Speedlines-Corrado-VR6-GTI/273178641361?hash=item3f9ab743d1:g:bMgAAOSwBMRa4MoX

You can't ever put a value on a Corrado without seeing it in the flesh. While some may appear over priced, without a physical examination you can't possibly hope to ascertain a value. Plenty strongly priced crap boxes out there also with fault lists as longs as your arm that are potential endless money pits. Basically if you want good money for a Corrado these days it needs to be near flawless, more or less original or a fully restored example.
-
Not to mention the rest of their Corrado parts.....£308 for a used blower motor, Many bargains to be had. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/BE-FORWARD-AUTO-PARTS?_dmd=2&_nkw=corrado

Oil Prensence after G60 Charger rebuild....Am I worrying over nothing??
Gti_Jamo replied to gollfy1's topic in Engine Bay
The oil weeping between the casings could be indicative of oil inside the charger or that there is an external leak from the main shaft outer seal and oil is just gathering down there. -
Oil Prensence after G60 Charger rebuild....Am I worrying over nothing??

The only two reasons to have excessive oil in your charger (which this is by the looks of the pictures having only done 700 miles) is that you have a worn engine with blow-by issues and it's collecting via the boost return, or you have an oil seal gone inside the charger. Either way it's not normal. -
That's ebay for you. However if they included global shipping then it would've probably sold no problem at that price.
-
Lets be fair now, it's not the most expensive Corrado steering wheel on ebay.

Lols.....Petrol stations are tough going as most are lined from top to bottom with all sorts of sugary snacks. Usually all within arms reach as you wait in the the que. I think my local shell garage has about 25 feet of just chocolate from the till to the door.

A jam donut would make me ill for weeks. My body hates sugar so need to limit it. Jam has 10 times the sugar over custard, is actually in most cases 50% sugar. I take it only from natural sources.
-
The fire stick is easy to set up. It's just downloading a few apps to it. No hardware modifications or that.
-
I literally get every channel known to man on my amazon fire stick with a few minor modifications.

Sugar is a killer, it causes inflammation within the body that trigger all sorts of ailments. While we do need it, it's better taken from natural food sources and not that white refined rubbish they cram into everything. Unfortunately, the artificial sweeteners they use cause just as much harm.
-
But are they getting a choice though? When they are bombarded with manipulative advertising 24/7. Are they intelligent enough to make a informative choice? From my perspective i would have to say no. Imagine if our education system was prioritised over nutrition, morals and discipline - rather than merely being a tool, to quickly define our place into society and how we can support 'the system'. I seen the recent Coke advertisement. Which basically suggests, 'If you want a Coke, have one'. Fcuk what anyone else says and fcuk your health and all the recent medical studies that prove it causes harm, just give us your money and drink this black syrupy crap. Of course the young woman in the advert looks like the epitome of good health also. When the reality it should show a bloated mutant with half her teeth missing. About 10 or 12 years ago I had a physical addiction to diet coke that properly screwed me up and caused me all sort of problems. Literally couldn't go a day without it. Turns out it's that artificial sweeteners. I literally can taste them in anything these days. I drink nothing but water these days.

Banned is probably the wrong choice of word, removed from the shelves for all eternity along with all the sugar laden drinks, energy drinks, diet drinks etc. All serve no health benefits whatsoever and only do harm, and all of which are obtainable by children. At least smoking and drinking isn't, and also may have some therapeutic aspects. Despite what the NHS might like us to think, medical problems stemming from smoking and drinking is not the primary problem, it's dietary. A typical western diet means we become nutritionally deficient basically from childhood.
-
Yeah Amazon firestick is fairly easy to set up. I literally get everything through mine. You don't need Kodi either.
-
Just nonsensical bull crap. Nobody should be drinking coke in 2018 anyway as it's not fit for consumption. They all should be banned.
-
Looking closer at the wings marks2 posted, i'd go as far to say they are in quite good nick.
-
Those wings aren't bad at all and easily repairable. Bear in mind you'll be paying around £300 for a pair of used, rust free wings for a Corrado these days.
