If you click the link below it'll take you to a pic of my bay on my build thread which may help you. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?85457-1991-Tornado-Red-Corrado-G60-Daily-Project&p=1151318&viewfull=1#post1151318

I had a Subaru WRX which I sold because they automatically make you look, sound and drive like an utter tool. Fun the ifrst few days but the novelty wore off quick. Corrado is more of a tourer, makes you smile at any speed. I doubt when my G60 gets back on the road it'll ever see above 70mph.

Cleaned old underseal of the floorpans. Was a messy bloomin nightmare. Why people put this crap on the underneath of modern cars I do not know!

Thank link just goes to 'my ebay' mate. I assume it's this one though. GLWS. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lysholm-Corrado-G60-75k-Miles/302819970528?hash=item46817a0de0:g:tn8AAOSw3bxbHU8f

To clarify, the link to their car is dead and this ebay ad comes up in it's place and is not the Black Lysholm G60 w/75k that was originally being offered for sale.

I wanna buy just so I can take a hammer and chisel to it.

The link to your ad is dead mate.

CO pot should be set around 500 ohms as a base. Any other adjustments would need to done with a gas analyser in order to get it spot on.

Hi, As the title says looking for racers on GT Sport (PS4). My hope is to run some sort of championship for forum members as we had something similar a few years ago on the ScottishVag forum and it was a lot of fun. However, similar to here, members have dwindles so the interest isn't there anymore. My PSN in 'jamtronic' so add me it's something you would consider taking part in. I'm thinking 6 rounds, Practice/Qualifying/Race with BTCC regulations however that will all be up for discussion. Perhaps create a youtube highlights video of each round. Cheers, Jamie

To put it into perspective. For a 26 year old Corrado, you still have potentially £3360 worth of road tax to pay before it becomes exempt. Also if you use £20 of fuel a week in it that's another £13,440 between now and July 2032. Not to mention the £10,000 you'll spend maintaining it lol.

I started group of FB a number of years ago regarding the Vitamin D problem within the UK and it has kind of evolved into rather large community that all help each other. It's the only thing keeping me on there. I did recently delete my old profile and make a new one with no friends on it, and I just use it for my group until I can find someone else to take it over. I try to encourage members, well it's an actual rule which never gets enforced, to save their original posts and return to them - so that all their past information is readily available and in one place. It never happens though. It'a just a disorganised mess these days. Outside my group, it's almost as if FB has no proper function! They say it brings people together - From my experience it does the opposite. Makes you resentful towards the fake people advertising their fake lives. People you once shared good times with, all of a sudden become annoying and insufferable.

Real car enthusiasts still use forums. Facebook doesn't work as a forum platform. It's better suited to attention seekers with mostly 'half-arsed' projects who would never have a detailed build thread. Given, it's easier to upload photos to FB but you are also surrendering ownership of them by posting them there which I don't think anyone would agree too if they knew that. You also won't find anywhere near the level of decorum on FB that you will find on forums. If a car community has ar**holes, that's where you'll find them.

Could be an issue with the hall sensor mounted on the side of the distributor, or the wiring to it. However with it being temperature related and not affected by disconnecting lambda tell us otherwise. Swapping the temp sensors around may not be definitive to diagnosing a problems with the blue sensor as they are not the same. The black one doesn't sent he correct signal to the ECU.

Haven't checked it out, just constantly on top of what Corrados are for sale. I'm restoring a G60 so like to keep an eye on the values. I would get in about it and have a good look about it. What are the wheels? Assume they are BBS replicas. At the end of the day if it's good, then it merits the value. It'll not loose value anytime soon that's for sure. As mentioned the timing chains are important and can be expensive to change as it's a gearbox out job at the very least.

Hi, Is that the blue one at Jim Reids? If it's the rubber that runs vertically up the door, it would be indicative of rust on the door frame underneath the rubber. If it's just the one that runs across the bottom of the window then it's likely been bent when removed. But why has it been removed would be my next question. Body rust is always the biggest issue with any Corrado so if you are good in that respect then it should be fine. Any sign of even the smallest bit of rust round the front windscreen spells trouble. Also the arches of the front wings and at the bottom where they bolt to the sill. Make sure the sills are straight and not been bent by improper jacking. The rear arches should be mint on a any Corrado, if not they have likely had work done due to damage. Wiper arms are easy enough to replace - more importantly check there is no play in the wiper linkages as the parts to fix it are obsolete - as with many Corrado parts these days. It is top money for a VR6 and I would expect it want for nothing with everything in order. I would ensure everything works as it should. It's impossible to put a value on a Corrado without seeing it in the flesh. Ideally you would want some sort of independent health check at that kind of money.

It resembles a Chiron than has been heavily vandalised.

LowG remember that time you waited 15 years for a reply on which tape to use on your boost pipe. And the reply wasn't even specific to your needs. Good times!

A Corrado that works 100% is my best and only modification. Everything else is just gravy.

Jamo likes that Jim liked his post.

I switched to tinypic a while ago. A fair few ads on the site but seems to work well enough for putting images on forums. http://tinypic.com/

The other one i have is in a terrible state and badly warped so not worth doing anything with it. The new one i have, although I didn't buy it myself, came direct from VW about 5 or 6 years ago. May be worth a try giving them a bell with the part number.

I may have one, i'll have a look today and get back to you. I do have a brand new one but you ain't getting that lol.
