  3. clumpy1, you not wrong, I'm pretty attached to mine :) Anyone else want to make me an offer on the remaining parts?
  4. Thanks James you're more than welcome. clumpy1 Excellent buyer, paid very quickly, id have no hesitation in recommending dealing with him :)
  5. Good, im glad they arrived safely. I didn't want them to be damaged in transit:) I hope they are all ok for you, and thanks for the positive comments :) Cheers, phil
  6. I didn't know that. That explains how he knew so much about getting vagcom to work with my 9a Corrado.
  7. No worries, it's probably not helped by me using my camera phone. It is all Grey - no black trim parts at all ;)
  8. clumpy1, your parts were sent today via Parcel force. I have emailed you a copy of the paperwork including tracking number.
  9. Very sad news firstly for his family, but also us Corrado fans. I never met Chris, but did benefit from his knowledge. RIP
  10. Hi James, thank-you. Payment received. I will wrap it up tonight, and post tomorrow :)
  11. Go on then, posted to Kilmarnock? I will pm my PayPal details in a moment. Thanks Phil :)
  12. I'm open to offers. I'm getting complaints about the space these parts are taking up, so I would consider a low offer for the whole lot
  13. It seems we have similar taste in cars, except for the number of cylinders :) This is choice I'm faced with every morning...
  14. Dashboard shell SOLD TO MarkFoster. Front door cards SOLD TO Tigerfish Rear side trims (door cards if it had rear doors) SOLD TO Tigerfish. Parcel shelf SOLD TO MarkFoster. Rear seat base (no hump) and both back SOLD TO MarkFoster. Centre console components SOLD TO MarkFoster. Bootlid internal plastic trim SOLD TO MarkFoster. Boot carpet, side carpets and parcel shelf supports SOLD TO clumpy1. A, B & C pillar trims SOLD TO clumpy1 Sill trims, fuse box cover, kick panel parts and lower dash trays £20 collected £30 delivered (Note N/S lower dash tray has 6 screw holes and 1 larger hole. All collections to be made from Southminster, Essex. Delivery to mainland UK only. The parts are from my 1993 Corrado 2.0 16v in which I have recently fitted black interior. The parts are as they have come out of the car and would benefit from a general clean up, but all are perfectly usable. Due to clips being removed from most of the black parts, I have had to use them, so most trim clips are not included. Feel free to make me an offer, I can only say yes or no :) Payment by paypal for delivered items or cash on collection please. All prices include all items in each photo.
  15. Where did you buy the HT leads. I put some GSF leads on mine about 3 years ago (10,000 miles) and 2 of them failed last year. The leads themselves were ok, but the moulded section which connects to the spark plug had no electrical continuity on the 2 which failed.
  16. Ahh cumbria is a bit far isn't it. Well if you head down here at some point... 230 us what my golf makes. Last year the corrado made 178bhp on a dyno known as "the tough love dyno". The figures are always conservative on this dyno. The aim is between 180-190 BHP, and realistically that is all you could expect from the spec which is 2008cc, 11:1 compression, gas flowed head, abf cams, itbs, custom exhaust manifold, magnex exhaust system and megasquirt ecu. On numbers alone it does not sound great but it is real fun to drive, much more than my golf. The instant throttle response, the noise, the revy nature of the engine, make it feel very lively.
  17. Power delivery is good. Considering mine has 4:1 manifold and 45mm itbs low rev torque is good and drivability is very good. To be honest good mapping is very important for drivability. Mpg, still early days as I have been developing the setup since getting it on the road last summer. At the end of April it is going to a dyno for final refinement of the map. If you can get to Essex im happy to take you out for a drive.
  18. Strange, it shows fine for me... The bracket holds the sensor in the air. The cam cover bolt goes through the other hole in the bracket to bolt it to the head, just to the side of the lifting eye and just in front of the oil filler cap. If you want to PM me your email address I can email the photo to you.
  19. Here you go, this is a photo of mine during conversion to ITBs. You can see the sensor. Mine no longer uses this, so I can't easily check the colour of the wire, but I am 99% sure it was brown, and 100% sure it was a single wire.
  20. The switch, does it look like a coolant sensor screwed into a small bracket? If it is it goes under the cam cover bolt at the front offside corner of the engine - closest to the metering head. Glad it is running well now.
  21. If I had known what a success the Revell Corrados would be, I would have bought a few instead of only one. joebloggsVR69, yeah the paint is finished very nicely. One of the Corrados has a very slight sag in the paint at the base of the C pillar, but it is not enough be a problem for me.
  22. They're here :) 2 Corrado models safely delivered today. Very pleased with them. Excellent detail. I'd certainly like more Otto models, but if I do buy any more, I'll purchase them from a UK source.
  23. Would you accept £60 delivered (Essex) for the Vibratechnics front engine mount?
  24. Refund for postage received this morning. After paypal fees and exchanging from Euros to Stirling I am £1.39 short on the return postage costs. This is annoying, but to be honest I'm not going to wind myself up with trying to get that back. As long as the Corrado models arrive without problems, I will leave it at that and put the whole saga down to experience.
  25. Its not your fault. It is clearly of interest to the forum members, so you were right to post about it. Just a shame we haven't all shared your positive experience when dealing with Otto.
