  1. That is the only place I can think of, but it would get caked in dirt, so I don't fancy putting it there. What I usually do is run the cable out of the bonnet at the bottom of the windscreen, so the cable is protected by the rubber seals and the bonnet can be closed, and the car locked and alarmed.
  2. It's all very quiet in here! Yandards, do you use a wheel or the control pad? I have had a go at beating you on some of the events, but I am struggling with the one with the Ferrari F40 and the bi-plane. I can pull ahead for the first 1/4 of it, but then you seem to get a load of speed from somewhere and disappear into the distance. Anyone tried putting a rear number plate on the Corrado? Because the number plate holder is black plastic it does not allow you to put it on there :(
  3. Mine came with one of those. Where have you positioned the connector?
  4. I use one of these on my Corrado http://www.ctekchargers.co.uk/ctek-mxs5.0.php Can't say much other than, it does what it says it should! The battery is always well charged throughout the winter months.
  5. Mark, a couple of other bits I have just thought of... On each end of the dashboard there are round plastic screw covers, would you sell the two of those to me? also at the top of the A pillars (either side of the windscreen) there are screw covers - 1 each side, do you have those. All screw covers need to be black. Thanks, Phil
  6. I'm sure I could repair the crack. I am interested, and happy to pay £35 for the pair including p&p.
  7. Having just looked into couriers for some other bits, I would prefer it if you could organise delivery. It ended up getting quite complex with the possibility of various extra charges. I would have thought parcel post would be a good option.
  8. Cheers. Mark, what are the front door cards like? Assuming they are Black and good condition, I would be interested in these. How much for both front door cards including speaker pods posted to Essex? Could you post photos of them both please. Thanks Phil
  9. Hi Dave, the carpet, fuse box cover and boot trim arrived today - all look perfect, Thank-you :)
  10. Mark, what are the front door cards like? Assuming they are Black and good condition, I would be interested in these. How much for both front door cards including speaker pods posted to Essex? Could you post photos of them both please. Thanks Phil
  11. I always continue to blead the system after the eazibleed bottle is empty. You have to be careful not to allow the reservoir level to go too low. I.e stop at just under max. No need to remove any fluid:). I've done thus many times with no air added to the system.
  12. I'll take the centre console, rear ash tray and the plastic handbrake trim (the bit you can see the back of between the seatbelt buckles in the photo of the console still in the car). Please pm me your payment details and total cost including p&p to Essex. Thanks phil
  13. I'm interested in a late style green with blue/red temp control for a right hand drive corrado.
  14. As long as the full centre tunnel in black is for a hump rear seat, ill take at £27 posted. Please could you put a photo up to confirm it is for the hump rear seat. Thanks phil
  15. hi, yes it is. I can wrap it tomorrow and post on Monday if you would like it:)
  16. ill take the black gear surround without gaiter. That is the one with the later karmann badge which does NOT have the wheel. Please pm payment details, and ill pay tonight or tomorrow. Postage to Essex please.
  17. I would: 1. Remove the injectors from the head - they pull out, but are often tight. Don't pull on the supply pipes, make sure you only apply force to the injector bodies. Leave the injectors connected to the fuel lines! 2. Put each injector in a transparent container - 500ml coke bottle would be good. 3. Remove the boot from the top of the metering head giving access to the top of the air flow meter (flap). 4. Turn ignition on. 5. Gently lift the flap. There should be quite a bit of resistance as you will be working against a plunger which is pressurised by the fuel. 6. In an ideal world you will see fuel spray out of all 4 injectors, and the amount in each bottle will be the same, as will the shape of the fuel that comes out. If you don't get fuel from all four further investigation is required. It could be blocked injectors or fuel distributor. The fuel distributor has very fine slots to allow fuel through, which block easily. I expect the injectors are gummed up with petrol which has evaporated and left a residue. It may be worth soaking the injector nozzles in petrol for a bit to see if it will remove the old fuel. I remember many years ago it running the injectors submerged in petrol was supposed to be a method of cleaning them - not sure how good it is though. IMPORTANT. Be very careful, you will be spraying atomised petrol into the coke bottles which is highly flammable, so make sure there are no sources of ignition around, and don't let it get into your eyes. Do this and post the outcome on here. This will confirm if you are getting fuel.
  18. Ah right, my o/h's nan is in a nursing home in Great Dunmow. I live in Southminster.
  19. I've used mine on my Corrado with no problems. To give the rubber seal a chance, wipe it off after use. Over time the brake fluid damages it, but if kept clean and dry it should be ok.
  20. Jim, Ah ok, I can see he has not been logged on since Monday morning, and was assuming he may be away or something. If there is no response by Monday, I will withdraw my offer to buy it. Just noticed you are in Essex, whereabouts are you?
  21. :( StueyB where are you? Still want the gear surround...
  22. Assuming it is still available, I'll definately take the black gear surround with the Karmann logo WITHOUT the wheel (the late one without the gaitor). Please PM me your paypal details and price including postage to Essex.
