sounds like airlock, try carefully undoing cap slightly when engine is hot to relieve some pressure, bet the heaters go hot straight away
-
you will have probs at the signals are different, 1s digital and 1s anologue. you can buy a converter from jabba for about £50 that will do it
-
wot engine? if g60 black is dash temp and blue is coolant temp fr ecu
-
I expect the golf rad is the same size. an oil cooler helps keep the water temps down if that makes sense lol
-
mine doesnt blow well ( nor the car). doesnt matter what speed, doesnt improve much between 1-4.
-
the 6a should be about 136bhp but easily up'd with kr cam etc.
-
I wouldnt of thought so either. the 2E doesnt normally have crank sesnor
-
you clearly she don a superman cape

cant you just join the hoses under the bonnet and still use it with no heating?
-
ther lambda will screw into the decat pipe
-
You would need the central electric fusebox for the g60 loom to plug straight in. Theres a wiring diagram on vortex, shouldnt be that complicated
-
I NEED my stalks to look like that :gag:

you could try and blast some carb cleaner in there

Just converted to late door cards, cut the later wiring from a mk3 gti as it was same plugs as switches. Problem is the colours dont match. any ideas what colour does wot on early and late switches?

the standard map senor only goes to 1bar, then bleeds off boost out the isv. I ditched my isv.
-
YOUR isv WILL BLEED THE BOOST OFF AT 1BAR and pull some timing i expect. soz about caps lock
-
I adapted the 20v loom to a golf mk2 engine loom, was only about 5 wires, then got ecu de-immobilised.
-
Is that with a BBM?
-
get a 1.8 golf mk2 16v 4 branch from TSR you wont need a lambda if using the kr injection
-
they are good because you can map each individual cylinder for air/fuel and still get very good idle with really lairy cams. Yes you have to have management to control the fuelling
-
seems alot of outlay for little power? they are guna sound lovely though. Expect gains of about 20bhp?

My car is running a custom chip from g-werks and was wondering if the WOT switch is still needed as i hear its normally mapped out? Reason i ask, is im about to try and mod a singlebutterfly throttlebody from an ABF by welding a boost return butterfly in, and the ABf throttle has an idle switch but no WOT switch What you reckon? connection for ABF switch

ar, i was thinking early to late hoses 1.8. maybe?
