Ive just aquired some front seats removed from a mk2 golf. It appears someone has welded recaro bases to the golf subframes then cut the rear legs down on the subframe. They fitted straight into my rado but touch the headlining and my legs dont fit under the steering column :gag: Is there a seat subframe i can buy that will fit start in and i can just bolt the seats to? If not any ideas on best way to mod them? Heres a pic of them fitted

I have just aquired some beige bucket style seats for my rado and would like to possibly paint the dash and trims in tan/beige. Can i get a paint for the job? where from? any reccomendations? I did search but no luck

I have plugs off a mk3 golf that fit the rado switches, il just solder them on. As for mirror wiring, i have mazda mirrors that dont work anyways lol

Just an update, the looms do unplug just inside by the door hinges but are NOT swappable between early and late as the plugs are different

Is it just flashing or is it beeping aswell? 1 sensor controls the light, and i think its NOT the yellow wire.

The smaller the piping the faster the flow to a certain extent, im sure that 1/4 inch wont make any difference

My car failed mot with my hids because the light was to blue ( this was with 6000k). i think the reason for this is that the actual projector glass dome has a blue tinge to it in the sonar lights, they arent that blue when on and are very easy to see with. Think mot tester was being anal. The reason ive gone for an uprated loom for my hids is that if i have the hids on, turn ignition off to say put petrol in but leave lights switched on, when i turn ignition back on, the hids dont come on. I have to turn the lights completely off, then back on again for them to come back on. The advert for the uprated loom on ebay says it should cure this problem. Im unsure what brand mine were but i made sure they were uk based and they were about £60 delivered

Maybe blown out the idle screw? if not bottom of the boost return hose has blown off

Im running hids in my sonar headlights (although it says not to). They are brilliant, also they sell uprated headlight looms especially for hids, i just bought 1 from ebay for £10 delivered. My kit cost about £50 (off ebay) and they are 6000k

i think 9:1 or 8:5.1 is a good figure to aim for
