something like the hall sender tells the coil to spark as it reads 4 slots in the dizzy shaft, spark goes through rotor arm to the relavent plug lead?

Is there a fix for a leaky boost return butterfly? i cant see any daylight through it but if you blow against it, it leaks :( If not, does anyone have a spare throttle elbow forsale?

you shouldnt need to put thin ally in :shock: they cam caps only need to be nipped up.

My mates vr6 storm has aircon and the blower unit is noisey as hell. He cannot find 1 anywhere, does anyone know where he can get 1? He says it made by spal and bigger than a normal rado 1?

you dont have to have the 3.5 reg, depends what chip your running. You'll need new chip to match red tops. The ebay dump valve kits are just a blanking plate for charger return, so same as boost return mod

the wur mod can only be done on k-jet injection. It basically involves lowering the control pressure which increases fuelling across the rev rnge. if you raise the system pressure, you would need to lower the control pressure after. None of the above really applys to you if you have a 9a with ke-jetronic.

yes the 1.8 golf and 1.8 corrado 16v manifolds will interchange i used to run a tsr golf 1 -
42mm is best for drivability, look in the wiki for pics of the different types of manifold

Theres actually 3 different types, the very early golf 16vs came with a long runner/small plenum 42mm,then approx 88on had 50mm small plenum. All corrados and passats came with 42mm short runner/large plenum
