Jim 2 Posted September 22, 2006 Love those new shape GT500's... So i'd sort of love to get to the bottom of these ridiculous prices that Americans pay on their cars (a new golf GTI is something like £13,000) Do they actually earn less than us on a direct job to job match or what? What about utility costs etc? Does it literally boil down to them having a lot more disposable income because stuff is so cheap, or does it balance out somehow or what? Or are we just getting screwed (the most likely answer) Would be interested to know..
vr6storm 0 Posted September 22, 2006 well they don't have a NHS to start with like we do.............much as we moan about it.........if you don't have medical insurance you're facked if you are injured/hospitalised etc
