KIPVW 0 Posted April 27, 2012 Kev, na mate I was just feeling horny lol! To be honest though in 13 years of owning the car I've never replaced a cv joint so thinking I'd hate to do all this work and then have to scratch/damage the finish off stuff having to do it a few months down the line, and it worked out cheaper to replace the whole shafts rather than separate joints. Plus they'll look sexy ;-)

ChrisL 20 Posted April 27, 2012 Chris, I use my local TPS and they even deliver to my work address :) Sensors wise i'd use the ATE ones from euro car parts. Pressure regulator on ebay an ATE item which is basically exactly the same for £65 rather than £180. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOLF-MK3-GTI-VR6-CORRADO-BRAKE-PRESSURE-REGULATOR-C72-/200704548022?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ebaec5cb6#ht_1984wt_952 I've ordered a selection of clips and things so i'll let you know part numbers when they arrive and look what's TPS??? I saw that on eBay last night and was going to ask if it is the same as a Corrado one. Will buy one later. If you could let me know on the clips and stuff that would be great. Do you need to strip your beam and powder coat etc or has it been done already? Are you going standard exhaust too?
floppyman 0 Posted April 27, 2012 TPS.... Trade part specialists or throtle possition sensor. Hehehe Tps is the vw parts dealer now

Butterfly 0 Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) If you could let me know on the clips and stuff that would be great. Way back when I did my rear beam Kip asked me to buy double of everything... then over time he forgot and has just ordered everything again. I therefore have loads of bolts & clips and rear bushes which are no use to me... If you are interested in buying them off me let me know and I'll list what I have and name a price :) Edited April 28, 2012 by Butterfly
KIPVW 0 Posted April 28, 2012 Tim, Na just the rear carriers to be honest, i guess if i have problems getting the hoses off them i'll have to sort something but they work spot on touch wood.
