by the way what did you paint those calipers with? - need to do mine at some point...

That looks superb, and to be honest I don't care if your 16, 6 or 60, it's just great to see so much effort put into restoring an old Corrado, when others are just breakiing them for spares :salute:

brought home the rest of the bits from work yesterday

 

very dusty bumper

ive refurbished the rear bumper bar and brackets

then i fitted my freshly repainted bumper

i have some all red rear lights in the shed so i did a test fit, what do you guys think of them? im not sure about them

Lights look OK, maybe smoked M3 style would look better tho?

have you colour coded the grill? if not what colour has it been painted? not too sure about the all red's are they the original lights been sprayed or are they crystal ones?

the grill has been color coded

the lights were red and amber and the amber bit was tinted red.

 

really lovin the colour!

i have a few sets of lights around so ill probably put on some original red and amber ones

i took the cover off the end of the crank so i could sandblast it, this meant i had to open the big bolt in the end of the crank which was the tightest thing i have ever opened( i bought a new bolt so i wanted to take the old one out anyways)

i spent a hour or two today cleaning and spraying the block

 

degreased

then i sandblasted the block

jenoseal to keep the rust at bay

nearly there, just waiting on some parts and i have stuff in america that ill bring home with me

i found out why no one puts a abf throttle body on an agu intake manifold but i managed to make it fit. its 3" compaired to the standard 2"
