craigowl 0 Posted August 21, 2010 Possibly a Triumph TR6. Always liked the understated styling - and its a true Brit!
The_Dude 0 Posted August 21, 2010 it would take quite a lot.... Whenever I see one of those Maserarti's in the flesh I'm always slightly dissapointed......in pictures they look amazing but in real life the body seems to dwaf the wheels which makes it look at odds  I went in one of those a few weeks back. A lot of noise, not very much else happened - my mate was accelerating and it sounded like he was trying pretty hard but in reality a Fiesta was pulling away from us! Tho I guess if he really wanted he could have done it with the 400 odd bhp  I would go for some kind of Porsche or an AC Cobra (replica obviously). James. 9 Posted August 22, 2010 In a breath... A Jensen FF ------------- I know they're regarded as naff to drive and didn't get the engine they were meant too... But I'd still have one:
vr6storm 0 Posted August 22, 2010 Possibly a Triumph TR6. Always liked the understated styling - and its a true Brit! a bit of German input however, but from our favourite car consultancy company The Triumph TR6 (1969–76) was a British six-cylinder sports car and the best-seller of the TR range built by Triumph when production ended in July 1976. This record was then surpassed by the TR7. 94,619 TR6s were built, of which 86,249 found homes overseas, only 8,370 being sold in the UK.[3] The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the Triumph TR5, but the front and back ends were squared off, reportedly based on a consultancy contract involving Karmann.[4]
4eyes2wheels 0 Posted August 22, 2010 Looks like someone has already built my car - Wicked - loved the dicing with the red Ferarri and white Lambo (?) at Brands Hatch. I thought the indy circuit was congested with motorbikes but there is SO LITTLE room with cars.
Jim 2 Posted August 22, 2010 To be honest I'd swap for plenty of other cars even in the same price bracket I think (nice 3 series, etc) .. just can't be bothered with the heartache of selling both of the Corrado's to achieve it ;)

Yeah it would have to be manual in interlagos blue! Got to love that car and the noise is even better than a vr! If i won the lottery the first car i would treat myself to would be a ferrari 458 or a mclaren mp4-12c when it comes out (carbon fibre tub ftw!) http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4009/470 ... 07e0_b.jpg http://www.ohgizmo.com/wp-content/uploa ... mp412c.jpg

Johnny H 0 Posted August 23, 2010 Sorry bit off thread but i would swap my 2003 Audi S3 for a nice Corrado (+ cash). Don't know why you would want to let yours go they are great cars and hope to get one soon.
Ben-B 0 Posted August 23, 2010 Seeing as though a Corrado VR6 was one of TWO cars I said I always wanted... I guess I'd swap for the other car... which is this: http://www.fantasycars.com/derek/cars/i ... /gtr_4.jpg Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec, in Bayside Blue I'd also love to have the following cars, but not quite like the C or R34 - Audi RS6 Avant http://www.wallno1.com/data/media/793/2 ... %20006.jpg - Mercedes C63 AMG (quickest I've ever driven, and been driven, in a car) http://www.zcars.com.au/images/c63-amg-estate.jpg - Porsche 911 (993 GT) http://8000vueltas.com/wp-content/uploa ... rasera.jpg - BMW M5 (E39) http://image.europeancarweb.com/f/99677 ... e_view.jpg - Holden HSV Maloo R8 (E Series) [aka Vauxhall VXR8 ute] http://www.privatefleet.com.au/images/u ... o%20R8.jpg Not sure why, but I really really like the idea of high-performance estate cars lol... wish you could get an E39 M5 estate tbh
ozowen 2 Posted August 24, 2010 Personally will not ever SWAP it - buy another car yes, but pretty much made up my mind that I'm keeping it as long as I'm on this planet :) (or it's get to a point it's not salvagable) im the same but thats why i said in the OP that if you "had" to what would it be?? your not allowed to keep yours ok  simples i'd get rid of the original and get this: and keep the VRT :norty: :norty: :norty:

They handle so much better than the Golf. 343mm brakes, nice. You can never have too much braking power :D
