I'm trying not to get jealous over how young some corrado owners are.

Id've *KILLED* to own a corrado when I was 20. But 12 years ago, they were still (a little) out of my price range and I had to settle for an X reg Cortina!

Suppose most of them still are out of my price range. I struggled to scrape enough together for my 91 valver last year, but I suppose that's mortgages for yer.

(Yes. I'm VERY jealous!) :

1992 - 1995: Nova 1.2 (1984)

Wassamarra? Had to start somewhere! I hear 17 year olds moaning about the price of insurance now, but to be honest I don't remember it being that cheap 12 years ago either!

Yeah in fairness I have a 1.2 Corsa which was my first car, but that was gullible parents buying it for me rather than my choice. Looks like I'll be enjoying it's 70bhp of roaring power for a bit longer...

70 galloping ponies, eh? I believe my trusty Nova, in it's day, could only manage 54....*sigh*. Interestingly, the Nova was eight years old when I got it...and my current car is 14 years old. Ain't progress great?!

Oops., we seem to be taking this thread in the wrong direction. My bad.
