1. Not sure if these pictures will help, but they might. 2 in bits prior to painting and 2 after I removed them from the car (because the LED's have failed and I didn't like the HID blue light in rain). The built up pictures are for my ebay listing if I ever get round to it.
2. Just noticed you'd posted again and after looking outside at the beautiful English weather, assumed you were gonna post up news of further leaks. Glad that's not the case and you may have accidently repaired it.
3. As always cost/driveability will be a factor but for some simple cost effective upgrades I'd recommend doing some I've done....KR cams, Ebay chip, 50mm intake, decat (legal if pre August 92), full exhaust, K&N panel. My car runs sweet but as I haven't put it on a rolling road yet I've no exact power output figures. I would love a turbo but as the car is a daily drive, I wanted something with less to go wrong.

Sitting on the fence waiting for some reviews.
5. Was about £60 for the lot. As I use my car daily, I bought a new rocker cover and had that covered, so I could swap it all in a day.
6. Powder coated rocker cover and manifold on my 9a (too lazy to keep up with polishing).

This should help. http://wiki.the-corrado.net/electric_mirror_repair.html
8. Wet weather performance was a bit interesting and they from new tramlined a bit on acceleration, but dry grip was good. I only paid £150 for the set of 4 so can't really grumble. Mileage a bit too poor for my daily drive and would rather suit a weekend toy. Plus point using them is the tyre bloke knows me well, gives me good discount and got his minions to wash the tyre soap off my wheels after fitting.
9. Sunday spannering included fitting a strut brace to the Valver. Was sold as fitment for MK2 Golf but a little modification by way of drilling some holes for ABS sensor mounts and it fits like a glove. Can't honestly say if it's doing anything other than looking pretty. The car does feel stiffer at the front however as fitted new tyres at the same time, it may be due to the sidewalls of the tyres. 10. Well my 3500 estimate was a bit OTT and having had a closer examination decided they were dead and I wouldn't get another 500 miles. Changed for some Continentals. Toyo's gave 3000 miles to the wear marks.
11. New cables worked on mine for a while but still ended up looking like yours. Turned out to be the rear calipers so I upgraded to some from a golf and no further problems.

I'd start with some penetrating oil on the adjuster rings (presuming this is what's seized)and try to take the weight of the springs with compressors. I can't believe I gave the above response without using the many possible double entendres to be had (funnar funnar)
13. Welcome to the fold. Nice valver that was reasonably local.
14. Never, I'm like a vicar on the way to a tea party
15. Fitted a new set of Toyo Proxy T1R's in January and whilst the rears are in pretty good nick, the fronts have probably got 1000 miles left. Not a bad griping tyre in the dry but poor in the wet. Doubt I'll be getting them again if I'm only gonna get about 3500 miles from them :epicfail:
16. Tighter than a gnats chuff but hopefully these help.
17. If I can get my phone in there, then a photograph will be taken. I'll have to find the master cylinder first, lol.
18. I couldn't tell you, but could take an under bonnet photograph at lunch if that would help.
19. Your googling talents are good, thanks for that.
20. A mate of mine has seen the following Recaro tartan design and is wanting to know what car it comes from. Seemingly it's from a VAG car but might not be. Any help appreciated.
21. One of my relay's failed stopping high beam. Checked this was the fault by simply swapping the low beam relay over and it worked. I now drive with 2 spare relays in my glove box.
22. Did some searching a some say fit MK2 Golf and all Corrado's, some say MK2 Golf and Corrado VR6 only, but not 16V. Guessing many shapes.
23. Been offered a strut brace from a MK2 Golf but don't know if it'll fit or if it does, are they worth having (it's shiny so I expect so).
