1. I'm sure EJ will forgive you "Vagdonna" :)
2. I've never had any bother with them, but with "Wayne luck" you maybe best steer clear.;)
3. that's em. I prefer to turn at ASDA's lights, then a right left, right at mini round about and then first left after 1 speed-bump (your way has several)
4. He does new too. I got a Landsail budget from him once and it seemed pretty good. Either that or the P-Zero on the other side was doing all the work.
5. Scuppered then, lol. As for tyres, Yogi's in Keighley is worth popping into to see if he's got any part worn rubber to suit, just to get you by.
6. I don't think I've used the track Rain but used to rob my ex's Immaculate collection to set my system up. This thread (and The Slaves album) inspired me to dig out my old JL and throw it in the Corrado for some bass. I must say I remember it being louder but thats possibly due to fitting it in too small an enclosure.
7. Three steps to happiness:- 1. Sell Rover 2. Sell a kidney 3. Buy a sorted Corrado
8. He's got a Metro 6R4 tucked away in the garage behind.
9. Turn on and crank till it starts. It'll soon clear the air
10. It just needs a bit of time to prime the metering head etc but then vroom
11. And from the other end of the spectrum.....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ford-mk-2-fiesta-cosworth-4x4-with-nos-/281749685230?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
12. It's not a bad job at all. Did my 2.0 but as its a daily I bought a new rocker cover and the good lady got me a 50mm intake at xmas. Both got powder coated prior to taking on the job, that way it could be done in a day. I did new gaskets all round, including the rocker gasket as these are allegedly prone to leaking. Fuel pipes under pressure so careful of it squirting and new injector seals are tight as a gnats cuff but no other issues. Dunno if you have a 50mm intake, but if not you may wish to consider one if not. As for running into any problems, come on girl its a Corrado......1 job always finds 2 more. :)
13. So bet this is happening on another forum. Just hope Wayne doesn't need to post as much and his latest purchase is a bit (read lots) more reliable. See you about buddy, pop on here occasionally to say hello. 6 months worth of posts and the rover forums might see a blue one like this.
14. Heated loom runs from fuse box, to switch, passenger foot well, along inner sill and splits at side of seat. One part of split goes to passenger seat then over tunnel to drivers seat. The other part of the split continues to the rear and lives behind the rear door card as per picture.
15. Stumbled across this thread that makes good reading. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1426740 Reminds me of the scalextric cars I had as a youth.
16. Seen a lady in a Corrado a few times now, likely to be your misses? I work in Rawdon.
17. I had the same issue with my alternator and for the sake of 2 screws, tried a new voltage regulator and it was just the same. It's still worth paying £10 for a new regulator before splashing the cash on an alternator. I ended up buying a recon alternator and now have one of these from ebay to keep an eye on things (its saved me once as the 1st recon alternator went duff).

Original antenna ?

Not sure if I binned mine when I changed it, but will check.
19. My valver sometimes turns over and won't start unless I put my foot to the board on the accelerator, crank away and vroom it starts. Not sure what causes this but at least I know how to get round it. Might be worth a try.
20. OMG, I've been spotted. Nothing to do with the weather, I drive it daily for big grins.
21. My understanding is the only codes the 2.0 reads relate to the ABS. Everything else is old school fault finding.
22. My sub will work with just less than 1 cu ft so appreciate it may stick out a bit. And thanks for the link, that work was tip top.
23. I'm considering resurrecting my 12" JL to pop in the raddo and fancied having a go at side stealth build but have never attempted one before. I'm hoping to get about 1 cu ft of volume with easy access to the spare wheel but don't know if this is feasible. I'm guessing fibre glass back mated to an mdf front is the way to go but before I attempt this, would appreciate any suggestions, inspiration or offers of any you have premade. If I do the above, then I'll probably fit the amp in the other side. My alternative is to drop in a false floor to hide the amp and use a standard wedge shaped box.
24. Just doing some lunchtime ebaying and found this image that may assist.
