Parcel shelf strap

Thanks for the replies peeps. At £2.95 for a pair, the seat items have been bought.
3. Last time I was busted was 98 in a 60. I think it was the exiting a corner bit that upset them. I though a ban was due as it went to court. I pleaded guilty by post (sorry won't do it again grovelling letter) and got 6 points and £400 fine.

Parcel shelf strap

Anyone got a rubber parcel shelf strap? I'm getting tired of fixing one of mine with super glue. Thanks Stuart.
5. I recently bought another ISV from ebay, the seller suggesting it was from a 2.0 16v (my car) but also mentioned VR6. Any way it was cheap so I had it. When fitting it last night I realised the pipe that points forwards was a little larger than the one removed and took a bit of wiggling to fit the elbow. The ISV works a treat (yeah, another spare) but it got me thinking, have I been sold one for a VR6 or possibly a pattern part? The ISV looks like the Bosch one removed but has the larger diameter pipe and is possibly a little slimmer. Unfortunately it doesn't have a part numbers listed.
6. Driven past a green VR6 at top of Oakworth a few times now. Anyone off here?

16v dizzy issues

I'd be inclined to swap the cap/rotor just for piece of mind. I once had the dizzy on my old MGB give me running problems (periodically cutting out when warm, would restart but then finally stopped), it all looked fine but it turned out the rotor was faulty. If you find yourself needing a dizzy, I have an Ebay special that I purchased new (cost about £60) and never fitted. It is however missing it's cap/rotor as I put them on my car.
8. Wesley, I don't want tread on any toes but I'd be interested in the SWG if its in good nick (photos?).
9. Was looking for the domed caps rather than flat.

Ebay chip

When considering an Ebay tuning chip I struggled to find any reviews. Anyway I opted for one for my 2.0 16v and the results so far are good. Seems much more eager low down revs and pulls well. MPH seemed to have gone up loads, but I wasn't doing my everyday run so I'll have more of an idea in a week or so. I wouldn't say it turned the car into a powerhouse, but for the cash it seemed a good buy. Anyway, here she is with her new Schmidt's (she got spoilt at Xmas) Stuart.
11. My caps aren't worth coating as a couple of clips missing.
12. Fancy fitting some chrome centres to my black modern lines if anyone has a set.
13. I went for Toyo 195/50/15 on the 8j/10et which look spot on and haven't caught/rubbed as yet (fingers crossed). Ride also much improved = result
14. As requested pictures of the 165/50/15, 185/45/15 and the replacement size of 195/50/15 that I opted for. The ride is much improved, 15's are the way forward.
15. 205's it is then. I don't like stretch but without rolled arches I may struggle with 215's. You should see the tyres I bought them with, 2 x 185's and 2 x 165 :shocked!: that are fitted to the inner bead - they look ridiculous and I expect dangerous too.
16. Bought some Schmidt Modern Lines (15", 8J, 10et) for my Corrado to replace some 17's (fitted with 205/40/17) with a view to improving the ride but not wrecking the handling. The ride calculator suggests a tyre size of 205/50/15 will be roughly the same but I thought I'd check what others are using before splashing the cash. Stuart.
17. Maybe that's why mine has never lit.
18. The cars on coilovers if that makes a difference
19. Fed up of the ride from my 17" 7J's and have been looking at some 15" 8J's with an ET of 30 - will these fit the unrolled arches of my 16v?
20. I'm looking for some nicer coilover's for my daily drive, but can't afford these :( If anyone wants to upgrade to these from V1's (or similar) then I'd probably be interested in your old setup
21. I use my 2.0 16v as a daily drive and have done for the last year (9000 miles almost). Only last week I had to use a hire car whilst the Corrado got some paint courtesy of the dumb ass BMW driver who clipped my bumper. The hire car was a 64 plate diesel Megan "knight edition" and although probably faster, definitely more refined and twice as economical, it was dull as. The woman at the garage couldn't believe I was glad to see the back of it and get my almost 23 year old car back. I do have use of another more reliable modern vehicle, but that's for sunny days, it being 180bhp of 2 wheeled loveliness. My next daily drive car will be a well sorted VR but for the moment I'm loving the valver.
22. I was spotted about 17:05 yesterday, getting into my red 16v in Rawdon by a dark (possibly blue) Corrado who slowed and gave me a wave.
23. The 3rd hole is at the back in a recessed bit. I assumed its where a bracket or possible a hose clip fits.
24. Condition? Photographs? I'm interested in them. If you still have them. Stuart.
