Whenever I've bought a new (2nd hand) If i can't find any evidence of a recent cambelt change I get it done ASAP! Better to be safe than sorry! TBH they are pretty easy to do on those motors, helps that they have huge engine bays, those 2litre lumps look lost :)

Yeah the RAC one just tells you make and model! The DVLA tells you a bit more! Looks like my Old bike is currently Unlicensed :( Maybe dead then :(

Thinking of getting one, for track days/Trips to York Drag Strip etc Had a quick look on fleabay and what a choice and price range! Guess as with everything you get what you pay for but anyone used mounts towards the bottom end of the market! Just wanna experiment really, don't fancy coughing up £80-£120!!! Cheers Y'all Steve

Megasquirt is a DIY Fully Electronic Engine management! A sort of shareware for engines! Should be pretty easy to do as the 9A already has the crank position sensor, just need a throttle Position Sensor and your 1/2 way there!!! Here you go: http://www.megasquirt.info/

When My Car was a Valver, I had the head Done, Schrick 260 Cams, 50mm Inlet, 4-Branch and a drilled Airbox! Had mine RR'd at 167Bhp! The cams made it too top endy though, revved like a bastard though :) If I was to do it again I'd stick with the std cams! Just my 2p worth
